So, what is ‘DeCent Things’ anyway ?
In brief, Decent Things is a conglomerate with activities in several fields, including Health, Energy and Finance.
2/ At the core of our Health and Energy division are the complimentary philosophical sciences of Alchemy and Spagyrics (Herbal Alchemy).
3/ And what is this Alchemy stuff anyway?
Alchemy, in short, can be thought of as “the study and reproduction of state changes in matter, and the evolution of nature.”
4/ Alchemy is believed to have originated in Ancient Egypt over 3,500 years ago, as a primarily metallurgical and chemical science.
5/ From Alchemy, discoveries were made about making metallic alloys and creating dyes, medicines, ‘artificial’ gemstones and even the chemicals needed for mummification!
Unfortunately, very little has survived from these ancient times.
6/ However, the alchemical tradition did pass onwards to the Greeks, Romans, Arabs, and then to the Europeans.
7/ In Europe, the Swiss doctor and polymath Theophrastus Bombastus von Hohenheim (aka Paracelsus) further focused on the medicinal benefits of chemicals and minerals. He ‘founded’ Spagyrics, which is a sub-branch of Alchemy concerned mainly with plant medicines and extracts.
8/ Alchemy was also developed independently in China (Waidan) by Taoist monks, as well as in pre-Vedic India (Rasashastra)!

10/ Our work is within Western Alchemy, in both the Mineral and Plant Kingdoms, passed down to us by way of a ‘Frater Albertus’ (Albert Richard Riedel) – the most famous alchemist of the 20th Century – who founded the Paracelsus Research Society, Paracelsus College and later…
11/ …Paralab in Salt Lake City, Utah.
It is in these institutes, under the guidance of Frater Albertus, that two of our core members began their studies more than 40 years ago – both are career scientists and now amongst the most eminent living Western Alchemists.
12/ DeCent Things is proud to honor the expertise and experience of these two exemplars, as students of these Masters, continuing an established lineage, innovating whilst maintaining tradition.
13/ Our team has 100+ years of combined experience, and documented experimentations/analysis in high-level Alchemy.
14/ And how does this relate back to Health and Energy?
15/ Well, we have been working for the past two years, thinking and planning out our vision for bringing Alchemy into the 21st century – by leveraging modern scientific analytical tools, big data, AI and deep learning, in order to fast-track the development of this nascent…
16/ …science.
In Health, we plan to build out a network of production facilities and micro-labs, to bring Spagyric (herbal) medicine to the masses!
17/ We have different categories of brands/sub-brands:
-Flagship (Fighter’s Friend, Mare Maia, eSports, Family Health)
-Single Ingredient (Tongkat Ali, Kratom, CBD/THC/Cannabis root)
-Traditional (Ayurvedic, Islamic and Indigenous medicines)
-Partnered brands / white labelled
18/ In Energy, we will be building out several companies, each focused on a specific technology and its applications. These are based on nano-materials discovered and developed over the past 10+ years by one of our leading scientists.
19/ The virtue of nano-science through an Alchemical lens is not only that it’s inclusive of several branches of the hard sciences, but also that it’s very efficient, cost-effective and environmentally friendly.
The tech-based companies we will found are for:
20/ -Geo Thermal Energy & Heat Batteries (independent energy company)
-’Nano-Fuels’ (independent energy company)
-Laminar Flow Batteries (partnership based – building EVs, etc. from the battery up)
-Radiant Heat Capture (mostly partnerships – focus on)
21/ These technologies are in various phases of development, and have all been proven effective at the prototype level.
22/ We will be building out a nano-particle lab for optimizing these, as well as going further into research and development, and bringing more future-tech products to realization.
23/ As per production, we are exploring the best 'go-to-market' strategy, i.e. through a network of 3D printing ‘micro’ facilities or ‘giga-factory’ style.
