Because the #DFK devs just announced some amazing stuff. Pet egg prices are up, people are composing their 1/3/9-hero teams for #DFKDuel, and there is great joy throughout the land. Here's why...

I was excited about #DFKDuel before, but now I'm positively inebriated with anticipation.

"Duels can be fought in groups of 1, 3, or 9 Heroes, with varying levels of rewards for each tier. As you win matches, your score will increase and you will climb the ranks."

Having preached for months on accumulating eggs to enhance hero utility in profession, crafting, and combat, I was thrilled with the devs' reveal of the egg incubation interface.

Yes, I'll take a 10x chance of a mythic pet, please.

We knew from @DefiKingdoms dev AMAs that pets would have a rarity system...

Now, it seems rarity influence both the chance of getting a combat or crafting bonus for the pet AND the size of each bonus.

People are going to go CRAZY for this.

Here's an early example of one teased #DFK pet.

It appears this pet is "rare" (based on the blue diamond, matching that tier of #DefiKingdoms hero), that it enhances a hero's mining ability and/or efficiency (pickaxe), and that it helps with crafting of armor (?) and AGI (?)...

This clip, accompanying the latest @DefiKingdoms Medium post, appears to show a #mythicpet that has large (?) bonuses in gardening, crafting rope (?), and assisting its hero in finding eggs (?)

I anticipate a mad rush to hatch/acquire pets that fit heroes perfectly.
