What a great run by the Oilers. While this was not the outcome we all hoped for, and the pain and sting of the loss is still new and raw, but it was so much fun to feel that playoff energy and excitement again.

This team, our team, gave us some great memories these playoffs. Remember, we made it to the final 4 and we were watching and cheering our team in June.

My highlights include the gutsy game 6 and 7 against LA, capped with McDavid scoring late in the 3rd to seal the series.

Against Calgary, Kane's natural hat trick in just over 6 minutes in game 3.

Nuge's game winner late in game 4.

McDavid's OT goal to end the Flames season.

And of course, Woodcroft waiting to shake Sutter's hand.

The series against Colorado was tough, but I will never forget how Draisaitl with one leg and wincing in pain after almost every shift just kept going and giving it his all. What a beast of a player.

Finally, I will never forget Ben and how the community and the team rallied around Ben. I loved the love that Ben created for not just us, but throughout the entire league. The season may be over, but we're still cheering for you Ben. @m_dan25 #BenOilersStrong

I'm looking forward to our future, we have the 2 best players in the world here long term, and we've got some great young players soon to emerge.

Thanks to all my Oiler followers. It's been so much fun sharing so many laughs with you all season.
