me, looking up the definition of "weirdify" to make sure it's a word (I'm using it in a thing I'm writing). lol, it's a word now! v: to make weird, the opposite of "normalize." A way of breaking down and exposing fascist rhetoric.

or, is there an already existing word for the opposite of "normalize" or "normalization." I mean, I might not use it, but does such a one exist and I'm just not thinking of it? Also, why doesn't that word exist? Have we normalized normalizing?

maybe Foucault's "problematization," but that's the history of when people began to articulate something as a "problem" that needs to be solved through normalizing. So, idk?
