Well, I'm back out and near the Dove Medical Center in Eugene where a "Night of Rage" is supposed to take place at 10 p.m.

Earlier today, people were seen gathered in the parking lot, on the roof, and they boarded up all the windows.

Security is currently posted out front and there's a man upstairs in the OCCU building take photos.

The crowd of around 30 people, many in black bloc, has crossed the street and is now standing in front of the security guards on the sidewalk.

EPD has arrived with a show of force. There is no traffic being impeded. No vandalism. Nothing.

Six EPD vehicles. Officers are removing batons from the back of their vehicles.

Protesters chant "abortion is a human right not just for the rich and white" while EPD officers remove some of their crowd control gear from their vehicles.

Two more EPD vehicles arrive as the protesters cross the street away from the clinic.

EPD is holding a line in front of the clinic.

EPD holds a line in front of the clinic while the crowd chants and more people show up.

Some passersby are very outspokenly asking some of us that are gathered why there are so many cops here.

"You'd think you all had guns or something," they said.

EPD officers are taking less lethal munitions out of the back of a truck. Saw what I believe to be a PepperBall launcher.

Mia Storm is asking officers why they aren't allowed to be on the sidewalk adjacent to the clinic as it's a public right of way.

This man, with what appears to be an AR-15 hanging from his chest is believed to be the same Boogaloo Boi/chud from earlier today.

Cops just went and talked to him. Didn't hear what was said.

EPD is in riot gear.

One of the protesters went across the street and asked an EPD officer if they could station another near the man with the AR-15 so that the crowd could feel safer.

The officer replied and said that he was more concerned about the people across the street wearing gas masks.

So, yeah. Apparently gas masks are deemed more of a threat than a man openly wielding an AR-15.

Protesters have locked arms and are back in the street. A smaller group went over to near where the AR-15 man is.

Kinda funny but there's a camera-phone battle with the AR dude. He's recording someone while they record back.

Cops just came on the LRAD and threatened arrest if people didn't get out of the street.

Protesters are taking it upon themselves to allow traffic to continue. Meanwhile, EPD advanced into the road making the protest step a few feet back.

I just saw a lit firework fly through the air and land behind the riot cops.

The crowd is getting closer again and some are starting to sit in the street

Threats of arrest if people don't get out of the street.

Someone is being detained/arrested following an aggressive move forward by EPD. The crowd has now gathered closer around the cops.

Ahhh so Boogaloo Boi is actually a Three Percenter apparently. That's what he allegedly told someone.

EPD backed an LRAD (might be the same one) directly in front of the protest.

About 50-80 people still here off to my left as EPD repeatedly asks folks to get off the street.

Idk how many times I can stand to listen to this stupid traffic order.

EPD has the entire one-way street blocked off so I'm not sure what traffic they are referring to.

They've done this dispersal order at least a dozen times. Maybe even two dozen.

Looks like Springfield Police Department has now showed up.

SPD in full force

SPD advances down the street and is forcing people off the sidewalk, even across the street from the clinic, in the process.

SPD is already being aggressive. Just watched the officer closest to me take a failed swing at a protester.

A well-known activist named Amanda was hit with a baton plus another kicked the bottle she had which then went into another person's leg. Officer 380 is who is being said was responsible.

I'm hearing that someone else was pulled by the cops past their line and detained.

Both SPD and EPD have formed a single lineband have pushed the protest back across the street.

About a dozen protesters have locked arms and are refusing to get off Ferry St.

Just got another warning to stop impeding traffic.

At least three different arrests and deployment of PepperBalls from what looked like point blank range.

It appears that the cops specifically targeted Paris Woodward-Ganz.

The crowd is IRATE.

Cops have retreated a little bit.

Just spoke to one person who says it was rubber bullets instead of PepperBalls. They allowed me to photograph their bruise that has already appeared.

I will say this — whatever munitions were used, it was NOT at a safe distance.

The crowd of protesters is down to a couple dozen people. Cops are leaving in groups while holding a riot line at Ferry and 11th.

It was like he was escorted by the two UOPD cruisers that just showed up. Really weird. Wish I got a better video/photo of it.

Its nearly 2am and we are still in the middle of a standoff. There's only a dozen or so cops left, too.

Lots of folks want to leave but not while the cops are still here.

The crowd applauds as SPD leaves.

EPD has mostly left. Still a few on the corner near the clinic.

Homeland Security just left too. Didn't even know they were here.

Everyone's leaving now. Getting the fuck outta here.

Quick mention:

As I walked towards my car, I did a little bit of scavenging and found a single piece of what I believe—based on marks left on a protesters pants and the scent of baby powder—to be an Inert PepperBall round.
