This is my mooncaster Eden Kia. She’s the daughter of Emmy and Yina Kia. Yina died before her birth so she was raised by Emmy in Glimmerbrook. She’s a master practical spellcaster and only recently, after Emmy passed away, she found out she’s a dormant wolf. #ShowUsYourSims
After learning about her dormant wolf gene Eden decided to research the history of werewolves and their connection to the magic. However, to her surprise, no books were to be found in Realm of Magic about the origin of werewolves
So she got past her pride and disagreements with Morgyn and asked them for help. However, the only thing they could tell her is that: “It all started in Moonwood Mill, better start your search there.”
Soon after, Eden transportalated to Moonwood Mill where she decided to ask around locals at the bar at the Community Center. They told her that the rumors say a lot of secrets lie hidden in the tunnels nearby so Eden decided to take a look for herself.
The tunnels seemed ordinary at first. Grody, infested with rats and garbage everywhere. The stench alone was unbearable.
After walking around for a bit she stumbled on a road block blocking off a section of the tunnel. It was pretty poorly hidden with a tarp hanging over. “I guess I can just transportalate inside” Eden thought to herself.
Inside there seemed to be some sort of archeological excavation going on. The tunnel wall was broken revealing a far older wall behind.
There was something about this ancient wall. It sparkled mysteriously and it felt like it was calling to her. She stepped forward and tried touching it only to find herself disappearing in it.
She emerged on the other side in an ancient corridor full of wall carvings. They told a story of the Myshupotamian society and cow plant taming. Another one told a story of a magical conflict between two sides, one that favored plasma and another that drew power from the moon.
An enchanting music from an oval room at the end of the corridor called to her. The room was unlike anything she’d seen before. Embedded with glowing crystals in the walls and the ceiling, it gave her a strong magical charge that flowed through her. #SoundOn
Eden noticed that the altar in front of her was in fact a chest, she slid it open somewhat nervously and to her surprise found a rare Moonwood wand in it.
Across the room a glass door full of moon reliefs stood. Unfortunately it seemed locked so Eden did what any practical spellcaster would - she transportalated.
As she appeared inside the magical flames on the wall lit the room revealing what seemed to be some sort of abandoned magical headquarters.
She lit the fire and looked around. Judging by the architecture and furniture it was a couple of hundreds years old. However, the stones and carvings seemed to be from Myshupotamian times.
In a room to the left of the common room Eden found the most impressive magical garden she’d ever seen. A perfectly bred cow plant and some plants she had never even seen before.
She decided to try out her new Moonwood wand and herbs she found in a potion room next door.
However, a sign across the common room caught her attention. She quickly transportalated and found herself in a library.
After looking around she came across a painting showing 3 women standing in an oval room she came from. She found their name were Maria Volkov, Avelina Lunvik and … her mother that she never met. Yina Kia.
She turned around and immediately spotted an urn on top of a closet. The inscription said: “I will avenge you Yina.” A wave of emotions came over Eden. Shock, grief and confusion, all at once.
“I need to find out what happened here” she said to herself. Across the room a ladder led to the upper library.
Up there she discovered a hidden entrance behind one of the bookshelves.
It was a study that seemingly belonged to someone named Greggorious Lunvik. It was riddled with archeological and magical artifacts, tomes of untamed magic on dedeadifying and… a personal diary.
Eden spent the next few hours reading the diary cover to cover. After she was done this whole place made sense. Paintings of Avelina on the wall, her urn and the tomes of untamed magic. Gregorrious seemed desperate to bring her back.
But finally Eden had learned the truth about the mooncasters. The legacy of her mother and her friends that the schools of the Realm of Magic desperately tried to hide. They died trying to save the realm from being torn apart by conflict and the vortex.
Feeling betrayed by the Realm, Eden decided to create her own school. Honor her mothers legacy and restart the Mooncasters. #ToBeContinued
