People have been asking how to prep miners for submersion. I've just added a second S9 to the #bitcoinwaterheater, so I used the opportunity to take some photos and videos on the process for 4x S9.
Step 1: disassemble the miners - yes some of them are filthy...

Step 2: clean them with compressed air

Step 3: Put some of Bitcool in a pan and wash each part in it, use a brush to get some of the stuck stuff off

Step 4: Repeat for all miners and all parts of the miner.

Step 5: put miners together again and let them rest after the stress

Step 6: Don't throw away the used Bitcool! You can filter it through a paper towel and a funnel and are ready for the next cleaning.
Also I've heard that the leftover grounds in the pan show the future mining difficulty, I let you decide yourself what they tell us ;)

And that's it! With a second S9 we have now 2x 1600W = 3800W of heating power, which is the same as the electrical coils, so we can compare the original WaterHeater vs the Miners even better.
