I might have had a small opportunity to look into the @unsereOEBB future. Here are a few details of the test train by @SiemensMobility, which currenty consists of 4 new cars. A short thread.. 🧵
Car 1 of 4 is the cab car with the lovely Vectron-like front, which likely will be used as a seating car, as it just had seats in it, apart from the measuring equipment currently used in the second part.
Car 2 had some slightly more comfortable seats, but also some of those found in the cab car. The "AB" in the name of the wagon and the "multifunctional" label seems to be confirming this fact (maybe even used for bicycles, given the larger door)?
Car 3 is probably my most anticipated: It features the lovely "capsules". They are situated in the Couchette car, with the other half of the car utilising conventional Couchette compartments (which seem to be similar to the "refurbished" Couchette cars with 4 berths).
The last car, number 4 is a sleeper car, mostly likely to be used behind the loco. The compartments seem to be double compartments only, as the A in "WLAmz" suggests. Look at the orientation of the beds, they were turned around by 90° and are now parallel to the hallway/windows.
I hope this little thread provided something new about the upcoming #Nightjet. The quality of the pictures might not be the best, but the sun didn't make it easy at all. Enjoy!
