Aside from " how do I get clients?"( No 1 question many people ask),
" How do you determine your price?"
"How much do you actually charge for ---?"
"What factors do I consider when setting my price as a freelancer?" are the next questions freelancers ask.
Here's a thread for you

There is a lot of secrecy around what people earn and how to figure out what you should charge by following the patterns of those ahead of you. Truth is, there's no one way to do it. Neither does the copy and paste model work. There are several factors guiding what you charge...

and how you charge:

✔ Experience/expertise level
✔ industry or niche
✔ Scarcity or abundance of experts like you
✔ Your business skills
✔ Your money mindset
✔ Your location
✔ Your business structure
✔ Your aspirations and needs
✔ Your self-worth and esteem.

That said, here's my attempt at helping you cross the hurdle and find a ground to charge what you are worth without fear or worries about overcharging or undercharging.

1. Calculate your monthly living costs — How much do you need to live on.

2. Calculate your monthly business costs — How much you spend to run your business. this is why separating your business from yourself is important.

3. Sum up the costs from steps 1 and 2.

4. Determine how many hours you want to work weekly or monthly

5. Stick to the price and target clients that suit your price

6. Break down the pricing to fit different models — per hour, per word, per project.

7. Reach for the stars — aim for more.

Regardless of your field ( graphic designers, UI/UX, developer, Accountant, etc) this breakdown works for all types of freelance services.
