Childe needed to write his own guide about baby dragons. Starting with the one he personally gave birth to. Because no, Morax's baby couldn't possibly be an ordinary baby at all.
One day, the baby discovered the existence of his own paws. Zhongli stared at the dragonling munching on his small hands and using them to pull his own hair (and hurting himself!)
"Lieng, don't--" Zhongli would say, watching the baby do the exact opposite.
And if you just discovered your paws, why not put them to use? Childe paled in seeing the small dragon trying to climb a tree.
"You're not a cat, you're a dragon." The Harbinger would say, but of course the baby had no intentions to listen.
Then, it came the day where the baby discovered the existence of round objects. He would gently place a small paw on a ball, shocked to see it roll. And how funny that little thing was, so funny that the baby dragon decided that he would try to eat anything with that shape.
His passion ended when papa accidentally made him fly after attaching him to some flying balloons.
Childe's face when he blinked and see his baby dragon fly into space was priceless.
He tried to hit the balloons with arrows and missed.
"Morax... Why our baby is flying toward Celestia?"
"What, he's not, he's..." He stopped to watch the chonky dragonling happily levitating.
Luckily, Ganyu's aim was on point that day.
