Part 2: #NieWanyinAU - Into Kindergarten

It took a moment for the class to settle down but so far, Wanyin was having a pretty good time! He even made a few friends! A boy name Liu Qingge and another one named Mu Qing. Qingge was really pretty but super strong! He lifted a whole

desk by himself! And Mu Qing shared his picture book with him when he noticed the sticker Sang-gege had given him. They were both really nice and Wanyin was super happy when the teacher let the three of them sit together for class.

"Alright class, today we're going to start with

a letter game. I'll show you a letter than you have to name one thing that starts with the letter, okay?"

"Yes, teacher!"

"Alright, the first letter is ... 'S'. Can someone tell the class what starts with the letter 'S'?

A chorus of little voices start to shout -

"Snakes!"

"Snacks!"

"Sleep!"

"Soju!"

"What's Soju?"

"Ah- A-Chao, where did you hear that word??"

It went on and on. During the chaos, Mu Qing, Wanyin and Qingge kept silent, watching everyone shout with wide eyes. Wanyin couldn't help but feel a little intimidated. All the kids seemed

really...loud and smart. The teacher hadn't even glanced their way and was already changing the letter!

"We hafta be fast." Qingge whispered/shout, turning to his friends who nodded with determined looks. They might have missed the first letter of the game, but they'd get the

one! For sure!

"Alright class. Settled down. The next letter is 'X' can someone tell me what starts with X?"

"X-Ray!"

"NO FAIR! I WANTED TO SAY THAT!"

"Umm...Umm... Xperment?"

"You mean experiment, Pei Ming? Good try but experiement begins with an E."

"EH?? But it's 'X-per

mient??"

"Experiment. E-x-p-e-r-i-m-e-n-t."

"That's cheating!"

"Oh! Xenoblades!" Qingge piped up, eyes sparkling as his friends looked at him curiously.

"What's that?" Wanyin asked curiously, tilting his head to the side.

"It's a game my cousin likes to play. It has SWORDS."

"AH... Qingge... umm... I guess that's true... but, let's stick to real objects, okay?"

"Hmm.. like Xylophone?" Mu Qing piped up unsurely. The teacher beamed and nodded before getting the class to calm down so that she could move on to the next letter. Wanyin couldn't help but

pout a little - sitting on the edge of his seat with determination. Qingge and Mu Qing had both gotten a word for the letter. Only Wanyin hasn't gotten one yet.

'The next one. A-yin will get the next one!' he thought as the teacher switched the card to reveal the next letter.

"Alright everyone. Can someone name something that starts with 'B'?"

Wanyin's eyes lit up and he almost knocked oved his chair as he stood up, one tiny hand raised high.

"Big Brothers! It has 2 B's!" he chirped as his friends ohh-ed at the quick response.

"Yes, big brothers do

have 2 B's in them. Good job A-yin!" the teacher praised and Wanyin couldn't help but beam. He couldn't wait to tell his gege's that eventhough they weren't in class with him, they still helped out!
