1. It has been a while since I've written about Marcus Ray. Here are some of the previous threads I've done for some background if you aren't aware of him.

4. However @Justin_Ling did write about him earlier this month regarding why he had been quiet.
5. On June 30 when addressing whether or not he would be in Ottawa for the James Topp event, Ray claimed he was never going back to the "most evil city in the country".
Couldn't be because people know he's a scammer and V4F (who loathe him) might have kicked his ass.
6. Later in the TikTok vid, he spoke about how he had been questioned which resulted in him making the planned take-over of a court house more peaceful... because what?!?!
7. On July 14 (uploaded the following day) Ray was again on sovcit Christopher James' stream talking about "the plan" to get law enforcement on their side.
There is also dumb banter about carrying people (excuse me for making fun of them in the next few clips).

9.Apparently 1000s of doctors are coming to Ray's and James' side which I TOTALLY believe.
Also, I'm sure Ray has also married @morgfair, won the NY marathon, and been awarded the Pulitzer, a day time Emmy, and the Nobel Peace Prize all last week.

10. Some of the boilerplate "the vaccines and those who are administering them are all evil, we are fighting forces of evil, and something something crimes against humanity" shtick common to a lot of these dweebs.
11. Sometimes one can't help but wonder at how much irrational woo can be thrown into a clip of less than 2:30.
Also, Ray continues to paint the action they plan as "peaceful" though already James makes some implicit threats that those not on their side, well...
12. Back to the "it will all be easy" as Ray and James plan on having a 15/20 minute talk with authorities who will then welcome them into the court house where they would engage in their sham hearing, followed by arresting those Ray and James tell LA and military to arrest.
13. I find it fascinating that both Ray and James refers to Ray's "tour" as putting on shows.
That seems to me to be a bit of a tell.
14. In any case, the whole "this will be non-violent" shtick is undercut when one looks at the very first image from the video from which I got these clips.
15. And later in the video after Ray has left, James plays a "how to" video on noose making in which he says that they will be making these for their enemies because a bullet to the head is too good for them.
16. And the comments that have been left don't leave much to the imagination either.

That's neat.
19. So in all of this Marcus Ray (aka Mark Chilcott) has been cagey regarding when all this will take place suggesting they need a "critical mass."
On a June 24 TikTok upload, he provides a more definitive time; the second week of September.
20. Later that night he appeared on Brad Carrigan's stream.

21. In this clip he reiterates the second week in September claim and says that a group from out west and one from out east will meet in the centre.
And how will people get to the centre?
In two convoys.
Yeah, more fucking convoys.

23. He goes on to claim that there will be hundreds of thousands in this convoy.
By comparison the #OttawaOccupation claimed at one point 2.5 million when there might have been a max of 15,000 so take Ray's numbers with a massive grain of salt.
24. While he is still not specific about the location (suggesting somewhere in Manitoba) they do talk about the possibility of agent provocateurs (Carrigan provides Jan 6 as one example). Ray claims that it won't happen due to their massive security detail.
25. Incidentally, I recently did a thread (working on the next part) on Canadian reactions to January 6 which is relevant to Carrigan's claim that the violence perpetrated by Trump supporters was a hoax and nonsense.
26. But preemptively claiming any violence will have been committed by "antifa" or the feds or whatever is a tactic we've seem with some frequency.
27. Claiming that of the four pillars holding up "the lie" (that Covid exists, there is a pandemic, etc), law enforcement can be reasoned with and they will, to echo QAnon rhetoric, help take down the pedophiles and the elite.
28. Brad hates socialists but is angry at market forces and issues surrounding supply and demand which is something I always find interesting.
29. Claiming there are no political solutions Carrigan goes after politicians including Bernier and Danielle Smith, though his big beef with Smith was that she didn't have him as a guest on her radio programme so I guess Brad seems slighted?
30. We finish with a lot of new agey woo and Marcus Ray asking, "are you ready?"
31. So the take away thus far?
If Marcus Ray and Christopher James try to take over a court house to hold sham hearings and issue arrest warrants it will go poorly for them in all likelihood.
32. The danger isn't necessarily that they would be successful -- they wouldn't be -- but in the violence that would (despite their claims) be precipitated by their action.
33. We already know that some of their followers are growing impatient and are spoiling for a fight, preferably and armed one.
34. The additional concern is that this action, should it even occur, might inspire other extremist actions.
If you are convinced the courts and government are corrupt, the science, there is no political solution, and all that goes with it, what might you be capable of?
