A source has sent us a complete copy of the latest Star Frontiers New Genesis from NuTSR.

Let's have a look.

(Note: we'll be highlighting some passages of text. If you see blue or pink highlighting, that's us selecting the text in the PDF)

The first thing that stands out is that there's no way this could be "photoshopped."

To fake this, you'd have to retype the entire document in order to get the text to flow properly. Anyone can look at the spacing of the letters to see this.

The timestamp on this PDF cannot be altered.

It shows that it was created in February, two months before Dave Johnson's racist tweets came to public attention.

(Dave uses a lot of different "Johnsons" in his work, we assume they're fake names)

Note also that much of the text in this PDF aligns with earlier previews of the game that were shared publicly by NuTSR on their own social media, and Dave Johnson in his Alarms & Journeys zine.

Let's have another look at what's in this PDF.

A core tenet of "Star Law" in his game is that slavery is legal, and anyone who participates in a slave revolt should be punished by death.

Yikes.

Looks like Dave was thinking about himself when he wrote this rule.

"Stop bringing up things I've done!"

Apparently eugenics are going to be a part of this game, and a warning against letting the human bloodline become "weak"

The players all belong to something called the Confederation. No points for subtlety there.

Ships in the game are designated CSS, just like ships were named in the Confederate States.

And here come the Nordics, and some talk about "purity"

A little twofer here playing on the "model minority" stereotype of Asians, and a little dig at Black people who "feel" oppressed.

Most games don't have alignment anymore, but SFNG does. Kudos to them for exercising the self-restraint to avoid mentioning Antifa, I guess?

Seems like SFNG is going to be a fantasy game, with clerics, bards, and gods? None of our business, but okay.

Continuing to read the full PDF of Star Frontiers New Genesis from NuTSR…

They take care to point out that there are "NO TRANS" in their game. In their entire sci-fi galaxy, there is "Male/Female ONLY."

Dave loves to steal from established authors. Here, he's tapped into the fascist fantasy world of Heinlein's Starship Troopers for his United Confederacy of Planet Systems (UCPS)

There's a lot of this in the game, as NuTSR tries to figure out how to use the IP they don't own from the real Star Frontiers.

Contradicting their own "male/female ONLY" from a few pages ago, NuTSR has included a non-binary race, but wants to make it clear that they're "GENUINELY non-binary," not like the "woketards" they despise in the real world.

This gets repeated a lot. Dave & Justin want to make it very, VERY clear that there are NO trans races.

I really don't want to kink shame, but what's this detail doing here?

Who are these aliens killing, exactly? What's NuTSR trying to say?

If it hasn't been made clear by now, NuTSR will definitely not allow you to have a transgender character.

Looks like Dave had a note for Justin here.
I shudder to think what they're going to do with "transbots" if Dave writes that.

For a fictional sci-fi game, SFNG sure does have a lot of things about "SJWs" in it.

"Not to be confused as trans-gender."

Dave's Nordic master race buys its ore from slave owners, for some reason.

Just because this playable race of Reptilians practice slavery doesn't mean they can't be good, apparently.

Now we get to Dave's "Nordic" master race.

I just want to point out that we're still only up to page 82 out of 229.

I shudder to think what else is in here.

Presumably the "male only" was an earlier note, before Dave decided he needed more places to describe breasts in the game.

(This is his bird-like humanoid race called Zar'uk, for some reason)

Game balance, schame schmalance.

The Nordics get every advantage, even though it's a playable race, because master race.

Gotta give them their due, when they say they want to go back to the 1970s, they really commit.

The money in SFNG is called "Confederation Credits."

I wonder if it's got a portrait of Space Jefferson Davis on the currency?

A little stylistic note, you can tell when Dave Johnson's writing a passage because he has a quirk for writing "&c." instead of "etc"

Also, padded leather? Wood shields? Is this sci-fi?

Gameplay note, if you have two types of armor, it will lower your armor class.

Dave / Justin has spent a lot of time thinking about how the enslaved races are kept in line.

Are they writing a D&D clone or a space game? Now there's undead in SFNG?

It's weird how often this manuscript gets confused about what genre the game is supposed to be.

Apparently they've spent so much time thinking about @tenkar that they wrote this.

There's some kind of "space troll" race in the game that Dave's Nordic master race like to kill for sport???

And finally, mercifully, we reach the end.
"Justin La Nasa / Justin Lanasa / Justin LaNasa / Justin Lansa" (even NuTSR can't spell his name) claims ownership of all kinds of things.
