Izuku watched his wife struggle with a shoe for about 10 minutes now,from the corner of his eyes

He was cleaning the already cleaned shelves over and over just so he could watch her and not be obvious enough that he indeed is watching her trying a shoe

Which was actually a sight with great humour if Izuku wasn't so anxious

Katsuki had tried to put on her shoes on the doorsteps like usual but her too big of a tummy was not-so-surprisingly in the way

She tried to tie her shoes while sitting on the floor next,lying on the floor

Came right after but she was still unsuccessful with the shoe

So she tried going to the couch and use the table and armrest to propel her leg and somehow pull the shoe?

Izuku couldn't understand her thinking process at this point but she's struggling real bad

Even after the pregnancy, katsuki was still determined to do her own chores like she usually would have - reluctant to relay on Izuku for simple tasks

Although Izuku tried his best not to fuss about katsuki's choice so far, he really wish to help her with the godforsaken shoe

He finally decided that the shelves were clean enough and it's time to approach his wife

" Fancy seeing you here kacchan" Izuku greeted a upside down katsuki, who was now on the floor and feet on the couch - still pulling on the shoe

She rolled her eyes, definitely not

Taking the joke from Izuku well

" Shut the fuck up"

" Can I see the shoe?" Izuku suggested

" Can you? Got fucking blind, did you?" Katsuki snarled and Izuku realized that perhaps, maybe, there's a chance that katsuki was angry

" lemme help you with those shoes? Please? It's my child who's causing you this problem and I think, as a good father, I should take responsibility"

Katsuki stared at him with outmost disgust possibly unknown to humankind

Regardless, she folded her arms over her chest and thrusted her feet towards Izuku, still quite upside down

Izuku sat beside her feet and went through past few seconds several times thinking though whether there were classier way to let katsuki help her that was more romantic

And possibly melt her heart

But what's done is done. Instead, he rubbed every inch of her feet- from the back to the tip and gap of fingers until the skin between her two brows straighten and she had a pleased expression on her face

He hastily picked up the shoes and placed it around her feet with rather difficultly

"Pull the shitty shoe off!" katsuki barked when she was finally wearing her shoes

" Why?"

Katsuki opened her eyes to look at Izuku "It's too tight"

"Eh? It's your shoe?"

Izuku couldn't understand. How can her own shoe be too tight? Did the shoe got smaller or her feet grew bigger

"It's a pregnancy thing. I think my feet for puffed up"

"Ah" but they looked same as yesterday?

Izuku pulled on his bottom lip with his index finger and thumb

'then again Kacchan hadn't left the house for a week,so obviously they couldn't know that her shoe doesn't fit her anymore' Izuku thought and immediately felt upset that even though he had noticed her feet looked slightly different -he almost took no step to ease her discomfort

"Let's go buy new shoes" and shop lots of other comfortable clothes and dine at the best restaurants-my treat Izuku thought,keeping most as surprise " I'll get fetch your slippers"

"nah" katsuki huffed, placing her right hand right Infront of Izuku, urging him to pull her up "I have had enough of shoes today"

"oh?" They can surely go tomorrow or any other day katsuki decided- still his treat thought

" I just wanna go and curl up in the bed and think how I couldn't put on a shoe" katsuki spoke before Izuku could suggest anything else "with my emotional support human"

Katsuki curled up on izuku's lap and Izuku couldn't help but console katsuki, cooing sweetness how it's just a shoe and definitely isn't that big of a deal

His beautiful wife Will be miserable just till another craving hits and until then, he'll help her carry her burdens (shoe)
