ok #cambma election night coverage. Now hanging out in Coty Hall (precincts 3-3 and 3-3A. Used to be 4-2) waiting for machine tapes to print. Looks like it'll be fairly quick, unlike in some past years.

err *City Hall. sigh...

Here are some early Dem. results from #cambma 3-3 and 3-3A (376 votes). Gotta do Math, but Driscoll, Campbell, Sullivan all leading

Here 4-2. Using the ladder may well be necessary.

Here's a zoom on 4-2 and 4-2A.

Here's the Senior Center, calm before the storm.

Also, apparently there's some [machine?] problem at 9-2, the Water Dept. Machine technician has been dispatched.

First precinct! 2-1 is here. I'm not going to read them off...

Starting to feel a little busier here.

As usual, the Globe has called SOS for Galvin, AP called AG for Campbell, and of course everyone called Gov. for Healey.

While we in Cambridge are still 0% precincts reporting. La-de-da.

All 4 election commissioners have now arrived (2 pictured). Theyve been going since 5am or so and are grabbing some food before convening the formal Meeting. (no Zoom this year sorry.)

Sounds like we've got around 16 of the - nope 34 OUT OF 42 PRECINCTS

can you read this?

Better resolution on Cambridge 32/44 results:

better shot of page 1

Hand tallying of ballots from the dropboxes has begun. Its estimated there are only a few hundred of these.

37/42 precincts reporting in #cambma

OK WE ARE ALMOST THERE 42 OUT OF 42 WAITING FOR THE PRINTOUT

#cambma UNOFFICIAL results 42/42 precincts reporting

And the City's PDF is here (faster than I could scan, because I left my portable scanner at home…):

It's really striking that for Secretary of State, Galvin and Sullivan were neck-and-neck, ultimately separated by 19 votes here in Cambridge, or 0.130%.
