1/ There's always something going on on #fxhash, and here is a quick list of the exciting projects I've noticed recently:

🧵👇

2/ "Life through the city" by @10denzy is inspired by the artist's former profession as a construction worker and creates urban silhouettes in a charming retro style.

3/ The artist also wrote an introductory fxtext article about the project that is accessible from the project's description - that's a cool use of the platform, I think, and it might be one of its bigger use cases in the future.

4/ "NEW TERRITORIES" by @chuckume and @davidumemoto is an impressive translation of David Umemoto's architectural concrete sculptures into a generative artwork.

The complex buildings look awesome and are explorable in real-time!

#9 @bno_ls

5/ The level of detail of the structures is really intriguing, as there are big buidlings with balconys, small buildings, plazas with sculptures, and much more, and there is atmospheric dynamic lighting.

I love this!

6/ "Take Wing" by @mwiederrecht recreates traditional painting techniques in stunning realism and results in abstract, dynamic images.

#26 @KRP_DM
#37 @Mateo77eth
#51 @williamapan
#61 @lemonde2d

7/ Despite bursts of colour and lively splashes, the images feel grounded and balanced, in parts due to a desaturated midtone that nearly all iterations use.

This gives the piece a restrained, floral beauty that somehow made me think of Victorian times.

8/ "Asymmetric stacked boxes" by @ferdoropeza are structures of geometrical bodies that are molten into colourful clumps.

#3 @sabatobox

#2 @alexgilbertson

9/ The project feels a bit like an evolution of Daniel's "Transparency of Crystals" that he minted on @PolyBlocks ages ago, and I already loved that one.

10/ "Under a New Sky" by @Mikkel_Hartmann is a worthy addition to the artist's ongoing "Rise and Fall" series of generative tokens that chronicle the rise and fall of a spacefaring civilisation.

11/ The monochromatic, minimal, and sketchy images in subdued shades stay true to their predecessors and manage to transport the same feeling of lonliness with the barren, blasted alien landscapes they show.

Beautiful!

12/ "Rudeneja" by @rhaegar_nft is an example of the varied style this artist is capable of creating.

The realism and dreamy atmosphere of these orchards of autumnal trees is really in a class of its own!

13/ The way @rhaegar_nft composed layers, perspective, and distribution of the trees silhouettes on the softly rolling, grassy ground in these images is nothing but amazing!

fxhash.xyz/generative/slu…

14/ "Ammophila dream" by @bajirudenwa is another generative art piece that recreates a view of nature.

A low perspective and visible blades of sea grass give it a grounded feeling that was intended by the artist.

#6 @dondiegotez
#12 @iRyanBell
#21 @bajirudenwa
#28 @marianoillo

15/ For me, it was all about the background to the project that the artist tells in the piece's description.

I join the them in raising my virtual glass of whiskey in a heartfelt salute to Mr. Doyle - sláinte!

fxhash.xyz/generative/slu…

16/ "____ - Iteration 2" from @landlinesart1's alternate account "Extracurricular Activities" reminds me of the artist's "Negative Space" and @thomasp85's "Screens", while the colours let me think of @kgolid's work.

17/ The output of this project is beautifully complex and jagged in just the right places, and, despite the connotations with other pieces, feels unique and masterful.

I really love it and am looking forward to the final output on the main account.

18/ "Redols" by @carreras_anna is focused on round shapes that are accentuated by geometrical forms in the background.

What sounds like a simple concept results in beautiful and complex images.

19/ Each image has splashes of warm yellow or orange in it, giving it a sunny, warm, mediterranean feeling.

There isn't much variety between iterations, but individually, each one of them is an outstanding beauty.

20/ "Alien Symphony" by @paolob67 creates what is described to be alien notations of music.

The backstory tells how they were brought home as souvenirs from a space journey, without knowing what they are.

21/ I like stories like that, and this is really a fascinating idea!

Now what do you think would this strange sheet music sound like if played?

fxhash.xyz/generative/slu…

22/ "Rising perspective" by @gandhiavelli shows captivating birds eye views of bizarre stone landscapes.

Tall pillars rise into the sky, and tiny flocks of flying birds provide a sense of scale.

#5 @seigneurrrr
#16 @MarkLudgatex
#14 @NFTBiker
#30 @onchainsherpa

23/ The seemingly monotonous landscapes are actually pretty interesting, thanks to details like fog at the base of the columns, rainbows, a wide variety of palettes, and the composition that uses panels to group multiple views of the same scenery.

fxhash.xyz/generative/slu…

24/ "Missplaced" by @dirbots is a charming collection of generative, futuristic habitats.

Vibrant colours, minimal two tone shading, and pleasant compositions make this a surprisingly awesome project.

#7 (Oyabun)
#13 @isnftio

25/ The modern buildings could be found on earth, but the landscape details place most of them on faraway planets.

Style and topic make me feel like this is what the person in @GrantYun2's "Space In The Mid-Century" thinks of when feeling homesick.

fxhash.xyz/generative/slu…

26/ "Un bouquet pour Papa" by @0xm4tt1a is a personal piece of art and dedicated to his late father, who died from Covid, and who, as a painter, has had a lasting influence on the artists.

27/ The representational depiction is unlike the artist's usually abstract other projects, and underlines the project's uniqueness.

Surreal colours, a rough, jagged style, and jumbled background patterns seem to reflect the artist's emotions.

fxhash.xyz/generative/slu…

28/ @0xm4tt1a is also featured at #graphicdays2022 in Turin at the moment with his previous "Human Nonsense Filter", so I say congrats to you, my friend!👏💐

29/ And that's it for now - four hours of writing went by in a breeze, so have fun exploring these cool projects on #fxhash, and GN!

30/ Sorry for the images not being with the rigth tweet in the second half of the thread...😖

I guess my thread editor messed it up after it stalled the upload the first time I tried.🤷‍♂️
