Didn't matter to Oz, he made bank.
Well - he had to settle a class action lawsuit & cough up 5M bucks. You don't pay 5M unless you have a crappy case.

Bad medical advice hurts real people. In this case, a poor guy had severe burns to his feet following Oz's advice. Those facts are not contested.
Oz got off because "it's a TV show" and not "medical care". Nice.

Without evidence, Oz said on TV that some olive oil brands in stores were "fakes" - this hurt sales and real people, and they said it was libel.

The fun bit in the olive oil dispute?
Oz had on an "expert" to support his claim, Maia Hirschbein. He knew, but never revealed, that she was EMPLOYED by the COMPETITOR of the brands he was attacking! Deceived his audience (same citation from #5).
That's pretty.... oily.

But here's the thing about narcissists like Oz (or Trump, his big fanboy).
They get tangled in legal disputes for petty stuff too, like fights with neighbors.
Oz planted trees that screwed up neighbor's view of NYC. Yup, legal battle ensued.

Lawsuits can happen, we get that. But ask yourself, how many lawsuits have YOU been in?
Have you had legal battles with neighbors AND family AND viewers AND businesses? Says something about the guy, right?
