1. Today I will tell you how the BJP IT cell has tried to influence a very important aspect of the #MorbiBridgeCollapse incident by spreading fake information.

They shared 3 days old to 4 years old videos to create a narrative that people on the bridge were responsible themselves for their deaths on Morbi Bridge.

Their lies were exposed when CCTV footage of the incident came out. There was clearly no vegetation under the bridge at the time of the collapse.

But, they still kept spreading lies by using different angle and location photos of the river and surroundings.

Not only this, they also tried to label this incident as a conspiracy. BJP Gujarat IT cell chief tweeted a graphic to blame AAP for this incident.

They kept on spreading these two narratives aggressively to distract public and media from asking the REAL questions.

They blamed people:

Why were people trying to swing the bridge?

Why were there so many people on the bridge?

BJP MP's own family members died in the incident. Is BJP IT cell saying his family members were pushing the bridge cables and BJP MP conspired to carry out this incident? Absolute Idiots

IT cell shared this thread to prove that people do this for fun & they are responsible for what happened.

Their thread exposes their own narrative!

BJP has 52/52 councillors in Morbi.
BJP is in state for last 27 years.
BJP is in centre for last 8 years.

If swinging/kicking the bridge was very dangerous,if some people were trying to damage the bridge intentionally

A. What was police doing for so many years?

B. How many cases were registered against swinging/kicking bridge till now?

C. What did Municipality do to stop this behaviour of people?

D. How many policemen were present at the bridge to stop such people on the day of incident?

They won’t answer any of this questions

One more argument given by IT cell is ‘over crowding of bridge’

- How many policemen were there to prevent overcrowding?
- How can overcrowding happen if they have count of tickets sold? How did BJP govt let it happen? Log ticket ke bina apni marzi se to ja nahi sakte the!

- Why so many people were allowed to enter the bridge suddenly?
- Did this happen for first time? If this has been happening in every festive season, what action was taken against contractor in past years?

They won’t answer this either.

Contract for maintenance of the bridge was given to Oreva group which is basically a clock and electronics manufacturers.

They didn’t have any experience in maintaining a bridge.

Oreva’s owner’s close links with BJP leaders were viral.

A media report also stated that Oreva’s Jaysukh Patel is a close relative of BJP central cabinet minister Rupala.

Another media report said collector was against giving contract to Oreva, but they got it because of a call from Gandhinagar.

IT cell will run away from this!

- Oreva got the contract of maintenance of bridge without any tender! Can you believe this?
- Contract was done only on ₹300 stamp paper.
- Corporation ignored all the irregularities
- Corporation was also involved in this negligence according to this media report.

Jaysukh Patel (Oreva’s Owner) and Morbi Nagarpalika officers did tax theft of ₹31 lakh while signing contract!

- Contract was done just on ₹300 stamp paper
- Valuation process of bridge was not done
- Thus, 4.5% stamp duty after valuation was not paid

Forensic repost of Morbi bridge:

- Cable,main frame and bolts were rusted. They were not changed during renovation
- Only fabrication work was done with aluminium sheets
- Sub contractors were not even qualified engineers, he was just a small fabrication businessman.
