Here's how I will be voting in 2022, with my reasoning. If you live in Maryland, take note! ;)
LONG thread🧵

For Governor
@iamwesmoore
I think we all know why this is necessary.

For Comptroller
@HarfordExec
We need bipartisanship in government, and Glassman is the man to do it. Moderate cred, capped off by a Hogan endorsement, the only statewide Republican to earn it! Lierman is fine and all but she's way too partisan for me.

For Attorney General
@RepAnthonyBrown
Ditto, except Peroutka isn't just a crackpot loony but a genuinely evil human being who is 100% going to hell.

For U.S. Senator
@ChrisVanHollen
I like his policy chops, I like that he's stayed focused on Maryland, he represented me well (much better than our current disaster), and he hasn't done anything warranting being kicked out. Good guy, easy vote.

For U.S. Congress
@CollforCongress
Jamie Raskin is a treasonous, anti-Democracy, Putin-loving, lying, do-nothing, hypocritical Pelosi suck-up. And that's just ONE sentence! The choice here is obvious - too bad #MD08 won't make it.

For State Senate
Susan C. Lee
She may be crazy far-left (and I mean CRAZY far-left), but she's written a whole bunch of good bills on sexual assault. She's unopposed, so I don't need to worry about sacrificing my centrist principles by not voting against her.

For House of Delegates
@DelArianaKelly, @SaraLove4MD, @mkorman
All three Democrats here are running unopposed - Kelly is very moderate, and while Love isn't, she's focused on the environment, one of my biggest issues. I don't like Korman the slightest but he has no challenger.

For County Executive
@SullivanReardon
The choice is obvious: a moderate, local Republican determined to keep us the greatest county in the greatest country in the world, vs a commie scumbag who rolls over to teacher's unions and extremist pro-abortionists.

For County Council
Christopher Fiotes, Lenard Lieber, Dwight Patel, @LaurieASayles
The Dems haven't been doing good. I think it's time for new leaders. I had one spot open on my ballot and Laurie is a true public servant, unlike the other three Dems, who are all hacks.

For County Council District 1
@Andrew_Friedson
Andrew has led the fight to prevent anti-Semitism from taking a foothold here like it has in so many other blue areas around the country. He has my full and complete support.

For Judges (Circuit Court, Court of Appeals, Court of Special Appeals)
#ElectSittingJudges
They've done good jobs. That's it.

For State's Attorney, Clerk of the Circuit Court, Register of Wills, Sheriff
The incumbents
I'm going to be completely frank I have no idea who they are or what they do, and I probably should know, but they're all unopposed so it doesn't really matter.

For Board of Education, At-Large
Mike Erickson
Karla Silvestre kept our kids in facial coverings for years even though the science showed conclusively they had no good effects, and plenty of ill. She must go.

For Board of Education, District 1
@EstherLWells
She took the blue book pledge, opposes racism in education, & doesn't want schools letting ELEMENTARY SCHOOLERS changing genders and hiding it from the kids' parents, unlike her opponent. That last one should be all you need.

For Board of Education, District 3
@JulieYangMoCo
Scott Joftus is running solely on an endorsement by Mr. Treason himself, Jamie Raskin. Doesn't care about our kids, only cares about himself. Julie Yang has plan after plan to help our most vulnerable students stay in school.

For Board of Education, District 5
@brendawolff1
Wolff has a partisan history, which worries me, but she appears to be moving past it and focused on the kids. Meanwhile, her opponent has been a pro-mask propagandist this whole pandemic, downplaying irretrievable learning loss.

For Question 1
NO.
There's no reason to change the name and if anything the new names are more confusing, not less.

For Question 2
NO.
This new residency law will make gerrymandering even easier as if the map is passed within six months of the election and someone "just happens" to be living outside the district due to some penmanship, tough luck! I don't like gerrymandering.

For Question 3
NO.
I am not well versed enough in lawyering to know whether the change is necessary or even good, and when I can't decide, well the status quo is working plenty fine!

For Question 4
NO.
I mean, obviously. This is the weed question. Marijuana destroys lives and I want it limited as much as possible - we may sadly be losing the fight but my vote will never provide more access to such a dangerous drug, ever.

For Question 5
ABSTAIN.
I genuinely have no idea whatsoever why a Howard County-exclusive proposition is on statewide ballots, but it doesn't affect me one bit - let the HoCo voters decide. Perhaps @JamesLNPol has more information on this quandary.

For Question A
NO.
lmao no way on God's green earth am I giving this disaster of an Exec and Council more power
