Ben is right, Gordon. Climate grifters constantly blame things on "climate change" which haven't actually gotten any worse. They're just plain lying to you. E.g., data show that hurricanes and tropical cyclones are not worsening.

Droughts still happen, of course, but their consequences used to be much worse than they are now. Droughts used to cause MASSIVE famines. But such famines are fading from living memory.

Temperatures are not becoming more extreme.

Among climatologists it is common knowledge that "global warming" isn't very global. It mostly makes frigid winter nights a bit milder at high latitudes. In other words, it makes climate more equable.

"Global" warming only slightly warms the tropics. That's nice, because they're warm enough already.

High latitude warming is very beneficial, because cold temperatures are far more dangerous than hot temperatures.

The "climate emergency" is a scam. The scientific evidence is compelling that manmade global warming is real, but modest & benign, and CO2 emissions are very beneficial.
Scientists call warm periods, like our current climate, “climate optimums.”
