CCTV FOLLIES 11/14 Xi schools Biden in Bali

CCTV takes "fair and balanced" to new heights by making Xi look like Lord Emperor of the Planet giving lofty instructions to a polite and well-mannered but rather aged boy scout named Joe Biden.

It opens with Xi talking and he does almost the talking for the whole time.

Joe listens and takes notes.

"Xi Jinping pointed out that the world is at a major historical turning point. Countries need to face unprecedented challenges and seize unprecedented opportunities."

"The vast earth fully accommodates the respective development and common prosperity of China and the United States. The two sides should take a correct view of each other's internal and external policies...and establish dialogue rather than confrontation, win-win, not zero-sum"

I attach great importance to Mr. President's statement on "four nos and one unintentional".

"China never seeks to change the existing international order, does not interfere in the internal affairs of the United States, and has no intention of challenging and replacing the United States."

"Xi Jinping systematically expounded on the origin of the Taiwan issue and China's principled position..."

"...and the first insurmountable red line in Sino-US relations. The resolution of the Taiwan issue is a matter for the Chinese themselves and is China's internal affair."

"...Anyone who wants to separate Taiwan from China is against China's national justice, and the Chinese people will never agree!"

The so-called "democracy against authority" is not a feature of today's world, let alone does it conform to the trend of the times.

Xi Jinping pointed out that the United States is pursuing capitalism, while China is pursuing socialism, and the two sides are taking different paths.
