Here's some #WorldCupFantasy clarifications.

Starting with unlocked and locked players as that's important for the rest of the rules.

Captains - Essentially you can only make ONE change, once a player is locked.

You CAN change captains on the same day once the first game has finished.

For example I could go for Kane at 1pm Monday, then switch to Dumfries 4pm Monday.

But that would be my only switch for MD1.

Subs are similar - you can substitute a player on the same day within a matchday as long as they haven't played yet.

Boosters are as we expected.

If you use Power Captain, only the players in your XI will be considered for captaincy.

Transfers might be the most confusing part...

You can make transfers DURING a Matchday, you actually get 6 transfers in the groups, not the 3 that are on the website.

How deadlines work.

Importantly you will get transfers to use within the Matchday, I'm just clarifying how it will work in the knockouts.

Transfers:

Before matchday 1: Unlimited
When MD1 starts: 2 transfers
MD2 starts: 2 transfers
MD3 starts: 2 transfers
MD3 ends: unlimited
When RO16 starts: 4 transfers
When QF Starts: 5 transfers
When SF starts: 6 transfers
When Final Round starts: 6 transfers

The final round includes both the final itself AND the 3rd place playoff.

You'll get points from both.
