CCTV FOLLIES 11/27 What protests?

When the going gets hot, CCTV plays it cool.
As protests proliferate in China's cities, CCTV talks about the weather. Let it snow!
-China economy good
-Snow in north China
-Fewer fairy lights on high streets of England this year.

From Shanghai to Beijing, new businesses are doing well

Foreign Minister Wang Yi warmly welcomes the new Russian ambassador to Beijing.

Xi Jinping dispatches Covid Czarina Sun Chunlan to the field to quell unrest and lagging cooperation.

Like a latter-day Jiang Qing, she is good at hectoring.

or in CCTV speak:

"Chinese Vice Premier urges firm, decisive measures to win battle against COVID-19 in Chongqing"

The implementation of the Zero-Covid discipline is unwavering but subject to optimization.
Get used to the white suits, they aren't going anywhere.

Meanwhile, speaking of white stuff, the snow is general in north China including Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Gansu.

In other places it's wet and slushy.

The Beijing Winter Olympics were such a resounding success that sports involving the manufacture of snow and ice are to be promoted.

Breaking news from Russia:
The US is guilty of over 200 biosafety incidents.
Must be true. The Russian Ministry of Defense says so.

The news has a distinct Russian accent on this day of no importance when nothing happened in China.

But the really shocking story is from Germany.

The price of milk has gone up!

France is having trouble maintaining its ski resorts.
Blame it on "energy woes" (which in CCTV code means unfair US sanctions that curb the smooth flow of Russian gas to Europe)

It's a humanitarian disaster. Adjusting to higher energy costs, the resorts have hired fewer snow movers.

If business is slow, blame the US.

England is no exception to US perfidy. Due to US-provoked energy woes, the UK will not be lighting the high streets with fairy lights and Christmas decorations to the same extent as in previous years.

(News like this is enough to make you want to go out and demonstrate)

Maybe that's why CCTV has partnered with several big distilleries to bring you the news with a classy touch.
And to help viewers relax a bit and not think too much.

After three liquor ads, it's time to wrap up CCTV's comprehensive look at China and the world

Gan Bei!!!
