As we're coming to the end of 2022, it's a good opportunity for us to reflect on the past year and what it has meant for us at Into Work 🕰️
Here are just some of the highlights...
In 2021/22 we served 283 people across our #SupportedEmployment services
Engagements increased by 16% for our #WelfareRights service as we supported clients with their benefits and income maximisation through the #CostOfLivingCrisis
We launched Inclusion Works! our project for young disabled people
This project helps young people thinking about their next steps to increase their confidence and skills
After a successful pilot earlier in the year, we were excited to extend this project
We continued to deliver our Autism Works! training to employers in Scotland
This training helps employers increase their confidence to recruit, retain and promote autistic staff
Our training is developed and delivered by people with #LivedExperience
Our training will run again in the new year if your #NewYearsResolution is to become a more inclusive employer 👇

We got involved with awareness weeks throughout the year, including #ChallengePovertyWeek and #ScotCareersWeek22
We shared advice from our Welfare Rights Officer to help with the #CostofLivingCrisis and the alternative routes our staff took to join Into Work
We were delighted to welcome @RichardLochhead, Minister for Just Transition, Employment and Fair Work to Into Work
It was great to discuss our impact and the importance of lived experience
His visit was featured in Employability in Scotland's e-bulletin idcampaignmonitor.createsend.com/campaigns/repo…
We were thrilled to join the British Association of Supported Employment community and attend the first in-person @base_tweets Scotland Regional Forum since 2019
#SupportedEmployment
It was great to see all our staff together in person more regularly as restrictions lifted
We started having a monthly in-person lunch to maintain a sense of connection with the whole team
We're looking forward to carrying on these themed lunches next year!
We'd like to thank our brilliant staff for all of their hard work over this past year
We look forward to continuing to deliver and develop our services in 2023! 🎉
