Sunil Pandita was killed by terrorists in Shopian in the month of August 2022. His cousin brother today narrated the ordeal of the family as the Govt isn't registering them as Migrants/Displaced.They applied for the same in the month of September along with other 13 KP families

Chand jee, KP Teacher was suffering from Liver cirrhosis for the last 20 years, his mother died in between, father is on pace-maker, survived by two daughters, his salary was also withheld for the past 3 months, his transfer file to Jammu was not processed in the last 4 years.

All that's expected from the community is a little sensitivity, empathy towards 5000 Kashmiri Pandit employees. "They signed up for this, they knew the risk, others also are working in the valley", this doesn't reflect empathy. Don't write in support, but don't speak against them

Acknowledging your pain, fear, trauma, sense of insecurity is a far off thing, people running the Govt have zero sensitivity, complete disregard for the situation KP employees are in. Normalising the targeted killings, overdoing the peace narrative and appeasement is the mandate.
