74. This little dance from the Advahov Brothers for Moldova.
73. When Jaguar Jonze and Montaigne recreated this Australia Decides 2020 moment at Australia Decides 2022!
72. The moment Francesca Michielin was the conductor for Emma at Sanremo!
71. And then when Emma and Francesca combined to put on an epic cover of Britney's '...Baby One More Time'

56. "It's a no, I'm not agree, at all!" ~ When Yseult passionately defended Cyprien Zeni in the French national final.
55. The chaos of the Bulgarian Eurovision Twitter account.
54. When last placed Tananai said "ci vediamo all'eurovisione" (See you at Eurovision!) on the final night of Sanremo with a Eurovision heart on his nose. 😂
53. A sad moment but a chance to honour a legend. Eurovision artist Olivia Newton-John sadly died this year. The Aussie, who competed for the UK, finished 4th in 1974. Vale Olivia.

43. When Emily Roberts forgot the words to Soap at the German national final and became an instant icon.
42. The huge success of Sam Ryder post Eurovision. A no.1 album, a no.2 single, performing at the Platinum Jubilee and many more. Eurovision a career killer? I don't think.
41. The voting chaos and drama following Benidorm Fest. Chanel won, although Tanxugueiras received 77% of the public vote. RTVE had to release a statement, artists were hounded but in the end it all didn't seem to matter come May in Turin 😛
40. The black sun of death.
39. Fiorello's entrance and short (but perfect) appearance at Sanremo.
38. When Emma Muscat ditched her MESC winning song for this instead
37. When Michael Ben David couldn't stop stealing people's microphones
36. "Russia goodbye!" When the EBU booted Russia out of the comp.

When WRS brought us the biggest earworm of Eurovision 2022!
34. The "I have a soap" pre-party performance of Konstrakta
33. Everything about Una voce per San Marino. The hundreds who auditioned. The six pre-shows. The acoustics. The production quality. And then for Achille Lauro to parachute in at the last minute and take the crown. Hot and mess spring to mind.
32. When the UK stepped in to host for Ukraine in 2023 and in an epic battle between cities, Liverpool was announced hosts over Glasgow
31. When Cornelia became an *actual* robbed Queen in London.

29. When Sheldon met his idol Conchita 😍
28. Every second of Rigoberta's 'Ay Mama' at Benidorm Fest. An incredible, and at times quite bonkers, performance. Thanks for the mammaries!
27. When everyone saw the staging for 'River' for the first time 😬 Nevertheless Ochman gave Poland their best result since 2016.
27 bonus: The fans got to work creating "Polish" versions of staging songs and can we just say, this one of Brooke's is actually amazing.
26. When Alina Pash won Vidbir with this incredible performance but later withdrew regarding issues around travel to Crimea. If she went, she would have likely been a Eurovision champion.
25. When Jaguar Jonze set herself on fire at Australia Decides
24. Alessandro's green screen segment in this rather revealing outfit in front of hundreds of millions of people. King.
23. When Citi Zēni's stage dive in London didn't go quite to plan
22. When Cornelia took Sweden back to the Top 5 at Eurovision with their best public vote since Måns won in 2015.

12. Elina's fall at Eesti Laul
11. "I will remember this for the rest of my life!" 😭Following the less than favourable response from the public after Benidorm Fest, Chanel got her redemption moment with an adoring (and heavily Spanish) crowd at Eurovision.
10. Sheldon took Australia back to the Grand Final with this epic performance, vocal and outfit in Turin. He also took out the inaugural You’re A Vision Award for the stunning look. Well done from some very proud Aussies! 👏
9. When Moldova finished 2nd in the televote behind only Ukraine. Zdob și Zdub finished 7th in their third Eurovision and proved that Moldova really is the country that punches above their weight at Eurovision!
8. The world domination of Snap after Eurovision. Rosa charted globally, performed in America and now has the second most streamed Eurovision song of all time. For an entry that finished 20th at the Contest, it shows you don't need to win to have success.
7. EVERYTHING about Monika Liu. The hair. The outfit. The grace. The Lithuanian language. Everything.
6. When Achille Lauro decided to keep everything from the staging brainstorming session and put it into one performance. Pyro. Smoke. Same-sex kissing. More pyro. Cages. Cowboy hat. Feather boa. And most importantly the MECHANICAL BULL.

4. Chanel's epic dancebreak, fan reveal and first Top 3 for Spain since the 90s! This will go down in Eurovision history.
3. The return of the UK. From two last places in a row, a double nil points in 2021, to runner-up at Eurovision was an epic achievement. And all thanks to the long haired legend Sam Ryder.
2. "Biti zdrava, biti zdrava. Biti zdrava, biti-biti-biti-biti zdrava." 👏👏👏
Konstrakta took a song about the Serbian health system with compelling but odd staging to a Top 5 finish at Eurovision. An epic achievement and cult status achieved.
1. An incredible performance. Smashed the staging. A record televote that will never be repeated. Europe and Australia showing solidarity. A story that was bigger than Eurovision itself. A victory for Ukraine in so many ways.
