Why tucutes are wrong, a twitter thread 🧵

Firstly, xenogenders are not "made by autistic people for autistic people". The coiner, Baaphomett, is allistic.
Tucutes claim that "gender is a social construct" when it is infact NOT a social construct. If it was it would invalidate everything trans people have done to be accepted. They are also recycling a TERF's argument. Gender identity is a social construct, gender is not.
There have been studies to show gender is based in the brain, proving the existance of transgender people. academic.oup.com/cercor/article…
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/P…
Xenogenders are not only transphobic, but also ableist as they hide behind the "for autistic people!" phrase and try to say autistic people don't understand gender.
Neopronouns (specifically nounpronouns (cat/catself, etc)) are also transphobic and ableist as they are closely tied with xenogenders. Nounpronouns can also cause issues for people with reading, writing, or speech issues as it is overly complicated and hard to use in a sentence.
Self diagnosis is another problem, yes it is perfectly fine to self diagnose things such as a cold, flu, or broken bone but when it comes to DID, autism, schizophrenia, BPD, bipolar, etc it becomes a problem. These disorders are complex and cannot be self diagnosed.
Medical professionals can't even self diagnose themselves. What makes you think that you have more knowledge than a professional? People are complex and we think wrongly about ourselves all the time. This is why we need an professional outsider's opinion on if we have a disorder.
Tucutes will also often insult, send death threats, or in extreme cases doxx people that don't agree with them. They commit crimes over people calling them out. That isn't right. Unless the person is a pedophile, zoophile, etc there is no reason to send death threats or doxx.
