"It's a little boy!" Guizhong clapped her own hands, excited.

Rex Lapis was dressed in one of the garbs that General Kapisas crafted for him, an elegant dark brown Liyuan dress, with golden decorations and sturdy plates on his shoulders. At his side, sat an auburn aired, young looking man with a pair of magnetic blue eyes.

The man had a slim yet muscled body, scars hidden by the light grey shifu. He was the warrior that made Rex Lapis fall in love. He came from Snezhnaya, a distant cold land that was ruled by the Tsaritsa.
One fateful day, the Archon and the human warrior met and fell in love.

Another fateful day was when Rex Lapis announced that they were expecting. A half adeptus heir for the lord of Geo. What a wonderful news!
After waiting so much, it was finally time to meet the little dragon.

When Morax sighted his old friends, he gestured for them to reach him. Guizhong and Ping looked at each other, getting closer with joined hands and shy smiles on their faces.
Ajax, Morax's mate, was holding the little half adeptus.

Morax stroked his back and Tartaglia offered the little baby to Guizhong, who immediately flushed and shook her hands.
"I...uhm! Alright, I can do this--" She chuckled, holding the baby. "Here we are... Hello little one..." She whispered.

The baby was barely a week old and looked...soft. Soft little chubby hands, with plump cheeks and the smallest dragon tail and cutest little golden horns.
She stroked the baby under the chin and the little one grabbed her finger with his small fist.
"Adorable..."

"You should hold him, Streetward Rambler." Guizhong teased her, chuckling as the baby yawned.
The blue haired girl nodded, a little hesitant. She seeked for Cloud Retainer's gaze before holding the little one.

While the cute scenario unfolded, Morax and Childe remained on the background, enjoying the liyuan breeze.
"You look tired, my lord." Ajax said, looking at the way the baby reacted to Ping's music while between Cloud Retainer's hand. "Did you think you could fool your mate?"

"Even the Geo Archon can't hope to fool the person he choose to marry." The auburn haired warrior smirked.
"I wouldn't dream of it. You know me too well." Morax smiled, sitting at his side and taking one of his hands. "I had...spent this last nights invested in a special craft."

"A special craft?" The young man blinked.
"A weapon." Morax announced. "A ring blade, for our tenth annyversary."
"And you're spoling the surprise already?" Childe pouted. "I wanna see it!"
Morax shook his head.
"It is far from ready, my love."

Since his mate was a skilled warrior, a new weapon was the best gift.
"I am crafting a weapon for the one i'm sharing a soul with, it has to be worthy."
Childe sighed.
"Always a sweet talker... but you didn't need to tire yourself that much, my lord husband."

It was already surprising that a crafter like Rex Lapis would show such signs of tiredness, but it was understandable, since he was using tecniques that required for him a lot of effort, mentally and phisically. It was like putting something of himself in one craft.

A little piece of his powers, an attunement of his soul, so that he could protect Childe even when the man was back at home, following the orders of another god.
And, with that, his duties as a leader, father and husband.

"Do not worry. It's not the first time I craft something for my mate."
"I know. But not overwork yourself." Childe pouted. "Your baby needs you."
Morax chuckled.
After a moment, Rex Lapis pointed at a certain point in the landscape in front of them.

"I'm naming a mountain after him." He announced, making the people around them fall silent. "One that is not born yet."
There was some clapping and the god just smiled fondly when Cloud Retainer place the baby in his crib.

Childe smiled as well, he already knew that, of course.
The couple held hands, getting closer to the crib and gazing down to the little half adeptus.
The three women joined them and the baby looked up at the adults, hugging his little tail.

"Our little treasure..." Morax lowered himself to kiss the baby's forehead. "I will protect you and make sure you'll be ready to face this world." He promised, golden eyes filled with fondness. "Liyue has waited enough for you..."

Streetward Rambler played for them, while Guizhong danced for her and Cloud Retainer rested at their side. The couple gazed at the sunset and they both imagined a future filled with hope and love.
