Testnet is an alternative blockchain used for testing It's an underlying software designed to be tested for glitches experiments and then improved on before launching to the real world.
@SuiNetwork announced the start of testnet wave 2 on Wednesday.
The Testnet wave 2 enables anyone to run a full node and allows builders to publish, test and share their apps on testnet.
Unlike the sui testnet wave 1 which was focused on stability.
Wave 2 is focused on fundamental
operations and functionality which includes
✅️Testing epoch management
✅️Tokenomics
✅️Stake design
To further test the Tokenomics design, two games were introduced
"Frenemies and Validators game."
Epouch is a fixed length of time during which new blocks are created in a blockchain
In crypto staking epouch allows stakers determine how long they would need to stake their tokens as well as the size of potential rewards they stand to make.
