#Lie_1 : Nawab Nasir Jung didn't burn Puna & Sir John Malcom is wrong.
Sir J. Malcom’s account (based on contemporary observatory) can't be rejected with mere words.
We have two more contemporary sources that mentions of Nasir Jung ravaging Puna. (Siyar & Hadiqat)

#Lie_2 : An English letter from Bombay speak of Bajirao's victory.
No such letter exists, if it does then at least cite reference.
Instead, 2 contemporary EIC letters (dated 19th March 1740) mention of Nasir Jung’s victory.

#Lie_3 : Chimaji Appa's letter of 8 March 1740 speak of Bajirao's victory.
The letter talks of a skirmish where Nasir Jung was reinforced and small fall back of Phirangoji Pawar, maratha general of Nasir's small right wing detachment not of whole Mughal army.

The war continued till 19th March when Nasir entirely surrounded Bajirao’s forces and cut him off [as told by 2 EIC contemporary letters].
If Bajirao defeated him on 8th then why did Nasir encircle and defeat him on 19th ? So, here you fail even with your Marathi sources.

A letter of Peshwa Bajirao shows his desperation after his defeat against Nawab Mir Ahmad Khan Nasir Jung.
If Bajirao had defeated Nasir Jung then why wasn't he able to lower his debt, why was he feeling low, disappointed and eager to meet death ?

Below are few out of many sources of Bajirao's defeat & unlike his, they contain primary sources.
Any history topic written is useless till primary sources are cited.
— The Modern Review, 84.
— The Forgotten Mughals.
— Maratha Seminar Papers.
— Nizam ul Mulk Asaf Jah I.
