Sony Made a Net YoY OI Increase of 16B JYEN (124M USD) from an OI of 1063.7 to 1079.7 Despite being hit really hard by the FX (Foreign Exchange Rate)
In other words, despite the JYEN falling to the US Dollar in value from 1USD = 100JYEN to 1USD = 130JYEN, Sony OI⬆️

Despite Reports spinning FUD (Fear Uncertainty & Doubt) from dubious sources, Sony has not lowered their Future Forecast of selling a total of 3.6 Trillion JYEN (28B USD) worth of Videogame related products in FY 2022 OR 1T JYEN (7.7B USD) In the upcoming Q4 (Jan-March).

30% of PS5s Monthly Active Users are brand NEW customers that never owned a PS4! Some coming from other platforms, some new gamers entirely, and some kids who just got the best Christmas Ever!

In light of the fact that 30% of PS5 users are NEW players who never had a PS4 checkout my thread of Welcome, Tips, & Tricks for PS5!

75% of PlayStation Users are still on PS4 however the demand to switch to PS5 has not decreased!
Now that the supply shortage is over, players transitioning from PS4 to PS5 will happen at an exponential rate from now on!

With the supply shortage ending, there was a significant increase in PS5 sales in Q3. Sony has increased their sales expectations of PS5!
