I believe that @LPNational's upcoming @RageAgainstWar_ rally is more of a pro-Russia rally than an anti-war rally.
The Libertarian Party's involvement creates a huge hazard for the party and undermines the entire anti-war movement.
Here's a thread on why I believe this. 🧵
Let’s start with one of the speakers, Scott Ritter.
Scott is a former UN weapons inspector and convicted child predator. He doesn’t even pretend to be anti-war.
In fact, Scott is a columnist for RT and has many examples of being pro-invasion & pro-Russia.
Next, let’s look at People’s Party Chair, Nick Brana.
Nick's Twitter is full of Russian excuses & doesn’t call for any actual accountability or an end the war via a Russian withdrawal.
The People's Party also echos blame to the USA, NATO, Ukraine, & everyone except for Russia.
Next, let’s discuss Jackson Hinkle.
Jackson is one of the most obvious pro-invasion speakers involved.
Before Ukraine's invasion, Jackson denied the invasion would happen, but as soon as it did, he was on board. He even started selling “Z” merchandise to celebrate it.
Next, we’ll look at Garland Nixon.
Nixon is literally a mouthpiece in the United States for Russia State Media through Russia Today and Sputnik News.
Garland Nixon’s pro-Russia bias is very clear in everything he writes, speaks on, and frankly, who pays him.
Next, let's look at Daniel McAdams.
Daniel is the Ron Paul Institute's Executive Director. He has a history of excusing Russian actions & often places blame on the USA & West Europe for the situation in Ukraine.
An RT contributor, he also owns a domain known as "Daily Putin."
Next, let’s discuss Caleb Maupin.
Caleb is a communist & founder of CPI, one of the rally's main sponsors. He was accused of sexual harassment a couple years back, is a RT contributor, and hosted a pro-Z rally.
His Twitter constantly praises oppressive regimes around the world.
To add to all of this, @RageAgainstWar_'s demands are also conspicuously missing any call for an end to Russian aggression.
I don't believe this is a coincidence.
@LP_CLC called this out back in December:
As I see it, @LPNational must withdraw their support of this event as it has the potential to undermine the entire anti-war movement.
The non-aggression principle sits at core of libertarian philosophy. If we abandon it, we abandon everything we stand for.
H/T to the investigative work of @BowdenOnBass as his articles dug far deeper into this than I could.

Update: @LP_CLC put out a statement this morning calling for @angela4LNCChair to take immediate action to remedy this.
