1) Richard Stengel is the founder of the State Department's Global Engagement Center (GEC).

He describes his job as "chief propagandist."

"I'm not against propaganda. Every country does it, they have to do it to their own population, & I don't think it's that awful."

@elonmusk

2) Richard Stengel is also one of the creators of Hamilton 68.

A propaganda campaign created by the political establishment to smear dissenting views as "Russian disinformation," using a fabricated list of 600 Russian Twitter accounts.

3) The Twitter files exposed Hamilton 68 as a scam.

Yoel Roth, former Twitter head of Trust & Safety, said:

"Hamilton 68 accused legitimate American accounts of being Russian bots... There is no evidence to support their statements."

4) Richard "Chief Propagandist" Stengel wrote an oped calling for the end of the First Amendment because of "hate speech":

"Yes, the First Amendment protects the 'thought that we hate,' but it should not protect hateful speech that can cause violence."

5) Like many other government "disinfo experts," Richard Stengel can't stop promoting disinfo.

• Steele dossier
• Russian collusion
• Russian bounties
• Fine people hoax

Which makes sense considering he's "not against" using propaganda against the American people.

6) Stengel fabricated the Hamilton 68 list, promoted the Russia collusion hoax, and created the U.S. government's GEC censorship & propaganda arm.

The people promoting actual disinfo always want to censor American citizens for spreading disinfo.

7) Richard Stengel's GEC worked with this DHS-backed censorship network to censor millions of social media posts on elections and covid-19.

They used AI to systematically censor entire narratives at scale.

8) .@DavidSacks explains how the establishment uses hate speech and disinfo as a "red herring":

"It's not like we want more hate on the platform... We don't want the thought police at Twitter putting their thumb on the scale of American democracy."

9) @elonmusk is right to call the State Department's GEC "a threat to our democracy."

The State Department's "chief propagandist," Richard Stengel, exemplifies why freedom of speech is a fundamental human right that must be defended at all costs.
