⏳ We’re just a little further than halfway through our term, and I wanted to share some of the fantastic stuff going on with @YoungGreenParty at the moment. Whilst juggling individual projects, it’s easy to forget to step back and look at the bigger picture.

🗳️ We’re gearing up for a huge set of local elections, with more target candidates across England than ever before, and an exciting plan to mobilise activists from Brighton to Bernley

🎉 And we jumped the gun, supporting @PatDBMcAllister’s successful by-election win in #Bristol

💪 We’re a month out from 30 Under 30, our flagship political education and activist training programme. 30 Young Greens will join us in Swindon to learn and practise the skills they need to organise in their communities, on campuses, and within @TheGreenParty.

💚 And it’s fantastic to see so many of last year’s cohort on ballot papers this May, leading local groups, and on our Executive Committee. We’re not just finding and training up the future of the party — we’re creating its present.

✊ Meanwhile, Young Greens have been out on picket lines across the country, supporting @UCU, @RMTunion, @theRCN, @unisontheunion, @ASLEFunion, @NEUnion, and many more. Our solidarity with workers demanding a fair deal is fundamental to our fight for a just transition.

🌍 We’re keeping up our international links with @FYEG, supporting our members to attend and facilitate European events, and actively participate in the policy-making process, including in @europeangreens

There’s so much more, too. But I’m proud of what we’re creating: an active, engaged movement, winning power and influence, and using it to radically reimagine our society, with people and planet at its heart. Young Greens are leading the way, and showing how it’s done 💚
