(3/8) Right now, the Tennessee Valley Authority is posing another threat to Tennessee's local ecology:

(4/8) Streams, wetlands and forests are at risk.

(5/8) Gas pipelines can have many damaging impacts on habitat and wildlife.

(6/8) TVA’s bat analysis doesn’t account for new additions to the Endangered Species list. The utility’s gas projects would destroy hundreds of acres of potential bat habitat.

(7/8) Rare plants and other threatened species could also be impacted if TVA goes forward with its methane gas plans.
