Timcast is a multi-million dollar organization run by children. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but my conversation with executive editor @ChrisKarr17 about why they pulled @ShaneCashman's story didn't go well. Thread:
tbdailynews.com/timcast-pulls-…

Shane Cashman is not a serious journalist. Before working at Timcast he was a freelance writer who wrote stories about the history of air conditioning and Mary Poppins.

Shane's big claim to fame was profiling Kanye West. But all he did was kiss his ass, while saying with a straight face that Kanye had a legitimate chance of being elected President. No serious adult actually believes that, but Timcast published it.

Tim didn't wanna address the fact that Eliza had used his show to spread her lies about sex trafficking, and gotten other conservatives censored for posting the truth about her. Luckily Shane was on the case, and she buttered him up real good:

Obviously Shane's 3 part series was a joke, particularly part 3 which falsely accused @defango of running a psyop to control us all into believing that Eliza was lying about sex trafficking. I chronicled the ridiculousness of it in this thread:

One Timcast editor made the executive decision to pull the story after speaking with @defango. Shane intentionally did not mention his name because he thought that doing so what would protect him, but he mentioned him by name in a podcast:

Over the weekend Manny came on the Turtleboy Live Show to talk about how he was defamed and threatened legal action. While we were talking the 3 articles were removed.

Instead of admitting they made a mistake Timcast's editors insulted their readers by stating that they were all too dumb to recognize Gonzo journalism. No one actually believed this.

But this was supposed to be an investigation about a serious matter. Eliza lied about being sex trafficked and used her influence with the world’s richest man to have dozens of people kicked off social media platforms. No serious journalist would use Gonzo journalism for this.

Meanwhile Shane doubled down and announced that he was proud of his work, which was so horrible that it had to be removed out of fear of litigation. The fact that he felt proud of this work, which put his employer in legal danger, shows how incompetent he is.

Yesterday Timcast executive editor @ChrisKarr17 started chirping at me, telling me that I was too uncultured to recognize Shane's Gonzo journalism. Here he is bragging about his “rock star journalists” at Timcast.

During a podcast Shane had previously stated that it was Chris, not Cassandra who was his editor. He also said that he “started a war” at the end of the story. This is not something a serious journalist brags about doing.

I noticed @ChrisKarr17 followed me so I reached out for comment on why he pulled the piece. He told me that the article was not pulled over any worries about libel, and suggested that readers like me were too stupid to understand what Gonzo journalism was.

Chris Karr told me that my line of questioning indicated I don’t know what I’m talking about, and that I’m not as cultured as he is about Gonzo journalism. But he wouldn’t answer my question, and didn’t seem at all ashamed that as executive editor this story made it past him.

Chris Karr said the story wasn't pulled because it was defamatory, but because of the explanation on the article – readers misperceived the style of journalism. He refused to explain what this meant because he pulled it out of his ass.

Chris refused to explain what the statement meant, claiming that it was perfectly clear as it was. He said that only SOME Timcast readers were too dumb to understand what Gonzo journalism is. Is it official company policy to pull down stories when readers misperceive them?

It was clear that @ChrisKarr17 was backed into a corner and could not explain why the articles were pulled. So he deflected and decided that I was a bad person who didn't deserve his time after he looked into my background.

Chris' source was a man named Rian Waters, who's been trying to sue me for 5 years after we wrote about his 2016 arrest for beating his girlfriend and killing her dog in front of their special needs daughter. This counts as a legit source at Timcast:

During a live stream Chris' source had an unconscious woman fall on top of him before leaving abruptly. Seems like whoever she is, she is more likely to be a victim of something than Eliza ever was.

I informed @ChrisKarr17 that he was using a domestic abusing dog killer as a source, which seems concerning since he's an editor for a major website that claims to write real news. He clearly was just looking for a reason not to answer legitimate questions about his failures:

Timcast editor @ChrisKarr17 is also a bigot. Yesterday he called Catholicism a cult and said that he wanted to destroy the Catholic Church. He got called out for it by @JackPosobiec, got scared, apologized, and deleted the tweet:

Timcast is a multi-milion dollar media company that many people trust as a legitimate source of news, but this ordeal has revealed that it’s run by morons. They have no journalistic standards and accuse supporters who offer legitimate criticism of being paid PR bots.

They provided cover for Eliza Bleu, defamed @defango, lied about why they removed stories, and insulted supporters. If they had any integrity they would invited Shane, Defango, Brittany Venti, and @TheQuartering onto the show to discuss this face to face. I doubt they will.

I realize that writing this means I'll never be invited back on @Timcast but I don't give a shit. I'd go if invited to discuss this, but I won't silence myself like Tim is currently doing in order to cover for people and get on the show. Integrity means something.

About to go live discussing this:
