it just comes out of nowhere. it hits you like a truck or sometimes slithers up your leg like a snake and bites you in the singit—

and sometimes it hits you so hard, you really don't know how to deal with it.

so regina just lives with it. she sits next to 𝘩𝘦𝘳, writes in her notebook, and ignores 𝘩𝘦𝘳 for the most part.

she focuses on studies, studies, and only studies because she genuinely doesn't have time for crushes.

(she does. she just regrets this one.)

because it all started in 2020. she's a freshman, curious about everything, and dealing with general electives she doesn't really care about.

she's not sure why there's still p.e. in college when she should be focusing on subjects related to her program but— anyway.

it was their first session in p.e. everyone was seated on the floor, which was curious for regina because their parents paid a handsome amount of money for their yearly tuition, and yet, there they were, seated on the floor like kids waiting for a jollibee party to start.

except regina was isolated at the front as the rest of the class had chosen to sit at the very back, right up against the wall.

their loss, she thought with a shrug. the view and audio were always better at the front.

but she didn't stay alone for too long.
