This Bhansali production is an insult to Hindu Indian women of high birth who’ve been shown in this series as lowly prostitutes in brothels of Pakistan.

To depict Indian women belonging to high noble castes as objects of desire for men in #Heeramandi Pakistan seems tragic.

For reference, this chart describes Hindu caste (birth) hierarchy in terms of nobility & religious purity.

Brahmins are considered the noblest of them all, followed by Kashatriyas, then Vaishyas, then Shudras, followed by Advasis & Dalits who are considered untouchables:

Why depict her as an object of lust for Lahori Pakistani men?

Sonakshi Sinha: Belongs to Kayastha caste of Hindus considered noblest of Hindu families w Srivasthava, Sharan & Saxena to be from Hindu Lord Chitragupta’s Clan son of Hindu Lord Bharma.

Isn’t it an insult to depict a woman of this clan as a whore in Pakistan’s #HeeraMandi?

Aditya Rao: belongs to royal Hindu Rao Brahmin Caste whose grandfather was Chitrapur Saraswat Brahmin from Mangalore & grandmother was daughter of Rameshwar Rao the last Raja of Wanaparthy.

To depict a woman of such noble Hindu birth as common prostitute in Pakistan is sad.

Deepika Padukone belongs to a Hindu caste considered 2b descended from Brahmin Hindus.

She was earlier cast by SLBhansali as Padmavati worshiped by many Hindus as a Goddess, to show her as prostitute of #HeeraMandi Pakistan being bought & sold by Pakistani men is outrageous.

Indian Hindu leaders as Mr Yati Narsinghanand ve publicly claimed that “Muslim men are better at satisfying women due to which Hindu women r attracted to them”

But for Indian film industry to make a Netflix #HeeraMandi series on it, seems mind blowing.
