Did a small thread on Baal (otherwise known as beelzebub or moloch) at the height of #BalenciagaGate
But now, we need to get to know the other side of Baal, his consort Tanit ( or Tinnit or Tinith or thought to be equivolent to Astarte/Ishtar)
Tanit was the most prominent goddess in Carthaginian mythology. Equivalent to the Phoenician goddess Astarte, she was the deity of the moon, sexuality, fertility and war, as well as the consort of Baal and patron of Carthage.
Well noted that Carthaginians/Phoenicians performed child sacrifice rituals...
She was known as the "Face of Baal"
But there was also a dedicated worship to Tanit... child sexual exploitation.
The symbol for Tanit is viewed as either a trapezoid with a horizontal line accross the top, a circle for the head.
Some with a triangle, circle for the head, same horizontal line, but with arms pointing upwards.
And then, there's everything listed above, added a crescent moon above the symbol.
Some emblems contain a hand. I am not too keen on the meaning, however.
Look familiar? (Gloria, Anderson, Carter Vanderbilt)
Take a closer look. It seems to be a sick mocking of Our Lady of Peace (Mother of Jesus) and dark Tanit symbology. Let me know what you find in the comments.
