Last, these are tools and not rules. There are a ton of fun ways to play with all of this that I don't have time to go over outside of the classroom setting. They are also very basic. There's a whole world beyond this stuff (pacing, comedy, action, acting, etc) 17/18
I hope you will continue to work hard at honing your filmmaking sensibility. Do not focus on what's flashy, or popular, and also do not focus on saying something profound that's never been said before. Instead, focus on SUPREME QUALITY and CLARITY of YOUR work.
