Nathuram godse belonged to the Chitpavan Brahman family, living in Pune. As soon as the family and caste details of Godse were revealed after Gandhiji's assassination ,the entire community bore the brunt of all the hatred.

Their houses were burnt, properties were looted and destroyed.The carnage started from Bombay and Pune and then spread all over in Maharashtra...Nagpur ,Satara ,Sangli,Miraj,the Patwardhan states, Belagam, Kolhapur etc..where thousands of Brahmans were massacred ..

1500 houses were burnt down.Talking about the violence that erupted in Nagpur ,which was part of the Central Provinces then,"Dwarka Prasad Mishra" a senior Congress leader himself wrote (Book -Living in Era)"Those who indulged in unlawful activities also included a large number

of Congress men belonging to non- brahman communities ,some being even office bearers of various Congress committees."
Media of the time had turned a blind eye to the event that were unfolding state pressure. "The Washington Post" had already started to establish the false

narrative regarding this Genocide by the news of fifteen person killed with fifty injured in communal riots whereas it is assumed that around between 5000-8000 Brahmans were killed, their properties, schools, hospitals business houses were looted, destroyed and they were forced

to escape from their rooted place .
Actually Gandhiji 's death was just a pretext used by Congress mob to settle the score against RSS and Veer Savarkar ji because the Hindu Muslim riots during partition consumed millions of people , that time RSS was involved in helping

the Hindus . RSS chief travelled all over the Punjab and Sindh and organised relief camps for refugees from Pakistan. Because of these events RSS became more popular than Congress .The rulling party of the govt was fearful of this popularity and wanted to ban RSS .After Gandhi's

assassination, Nehru played it quite well to put the blame on RSS and his political opponents. Near about 77 thousand volunteers of RSS were sent to jail all over India , though there is nothing found that could link Savarkar ji to Gandhiji 's assassination yet he was taken to

the custody under Preventive Detention Act , properties owned by him were set on fire by rioters and his brother Dr Narayan Rao Savarkar ji was stoned to death. It was only after British journalist" Maureen Patterson"
who came to India to research about Gandhi's death for her

book "Gandhi nd Godse",wrote about the violence against Brahamans in Maharashtra, Otherwise Congress had left no stone unturned to erase this heinous crime from the history of India and world.
After these atrocities Brahaman neither took up arms & took revenge by killing

innocent ppl nor they brainwashed their next generation to take avenge of their ancestor's atrocities. So whenever someone shout about Brahamanical Patriarchy , they should remember the atrocities which the Brahamans bore but never complained about.
