Now just think how much your money would be worth if it was backed by a hard asset like gold and silver. It has been tested time and time again. Kingdoms have been built on it.
It also puts limitations on government spending because they have to dig it out of the earth.
So they can't keep raising the debt limit because the gold supply is limited. Congress only has the authority to mint coin, making them accountable.
Instead of typing # on a keyboard.
Congress can mint more coin because of supply and demand, when it comes to smelting gold and silver as legal tender.
The federal reserve is a misnomer and not even a part of our government. They have their own agenda and aren't beholden to the taxpayer.
