Thread on bizarre case of Robert Rozier: Star defensive end at UC Berkeley, 9th round NFL pick – Oh, and also "Black supremacist" cult member, and “Death Angel” serial-killer who was eventually put away for … check fraud under a California “three strikes” law.

Rozier was an outstanding high school athlete, which helps explain how he managed to get into one of America’s elite universities despite his 1.32 high school GPA and lack of a diploma.

Rozier seemed to enjoy his time at Berkeley. He styled himself the “Gorilla Pimp,” used drugs, contributed to the delinquency of a minor, and kept classmates on their toes with a quasi-Lovecraftian-named pit bull.

Rozier majored in – you guessed it – “Afro-American studies.” In class Rozier would have learned from the famed Professor Edwards that - despite enjoying a free ride at an elite university and a chance at a lucrative career - he was actually being cruelly exploited by Whitey.

Rozier was drafted by the Cardinals and played in a couple games in 1979. But he was a flop as a pro-football player. He drifted to the Canadian league, and then back to America, apparently stealing and committing fraud wherever he went – But somehow avoiding prison.

Sometime in the early 1980s Rozier fell-in with the fanatical “Nation of Yahweh” cult. The cult was led by Yahweh Ben Yahweh, who was “heavily influenced by the most extreme of Nation of Islam beliefs” and who borrowed ideas from the Black Hebrew Israelites.

A core tenant of the Yahweh cult ideology was that White people were devils who deserved to be killed. "He would say many times, 'How many of you all would kill a white person, how many of you would get ahead?" and everyone would raise their hand."

The cult carried on some useful community activity, and lucrative businesses. But behind the respectable facade was a vicious criminal organization. The cult got the attention of law enforcement after defecting members started turning-up gruesomely murdered.

As with Jim Jones’s People Temple in San Francisco, the ability to deliver Democrat votes outweighed concerns over criminality and fringe ideology. Even as rumors spread that the cult was a violent criminal enterprise, the Mayor of Miami actually declared “Yahweh Ben Yahweh Day.”

In the cult, the imposing Rozier was able to level-up to “Death Angel” status – a cult enforcer. The Death Angels executed disloyal cult member. They also were encouraged to kill random Whites and bring back victim body parts to as proof.

The wheels started coming off in October 1986 when Rozier was arrested at the scene of two cult murders. Evidence linked him to “Death Angel” killings of Whites. In exchange for leniency, Rozier offered to tell the testify about a long-list of murders committed by the cult.

Believing insider testimony was essential against the tightly-controlled cult, prosecutors offered Rozier a remarkable deal. The Death Angel would accept a 22-year sentence for four murders. Rozier (eventually implicated in seven murders) would be released after 10 years.

At trial, Rozier detailed multiple murders he had participated in. He recalled a Death Angel mission where he was sent by Yahweh to kill a random White person. “Any white devil would do.” Rozier brought back the victims ear - Yahweh was so please he gave Rozier a day off.

The trial resulted in conspiracy convictions for multiple cult members, and Yahweh was sentenced to 18 years. But on the whole, the case was a disappointment for the government. The jury acquitted or deadlocked on many other serious charges. They had found Rozier unconvincing.

Rozier served his 10 years in prison before disappearing into the Witness Protection program. But he resurfaced dramatically in 1999, when he was arrested for once again committing check fraud.

Rozier’s lawyers tried to convince the court that their serial-killer client should be let off without more jail time. But looking over the decades of fraud and murder - the judge had seen enough. He maxed-out Rozier with a 25 year to life sentence under the "three strikes" law.

Yahweh died in 2007. Rozier, now 67, is still in prison. Each in his own way is a testament to a dysfunctional criminal justice system, and to the Regime’s determination to look the other way when dealing with dangerous criminals who don’t fit the approved anti-White narrative.
