now, ofc it's time for #pathaanonprime.

ekdam bekaar aur cringe-worthy note pe starting.

cinematic parallels b/w pathaan & the legend

*whistles*

whoever has done the closed captioning, good job.

that camera rotating with the shotgun in the air is just *chef's kiss*

pathaan//apocalypse now//star wars: tfa//army of the dead

pretty sure this is how shah rukh from k3g woulda reacted to shah rukh from pathaan

dekho mereko toh harr line mein subtext dikhta hai. and this line is probably for all those who thought srk is done since he hadn't a single movie in around 5 years.

i love this bit. jim always ensures you understand the gravity of the situation.

using "aye mere watan ke logon... zara yaad karo qurbani" to do john abraham's face reveal? everyone was kinda stunned when they watched it for the 1st time @ the theater.

in an ideal situation, pathaan would've learned something from this very teaching moment instead of slathering more nationalism over it. but fir shayad movie release nahi hoti. this is a great bit though.

bohot zor ka tamacha thaa ye.

ye scene dekhte waqt toh kuch kuch nahi, bohot kuch ho raha tha🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵

nobody's beating this look, this year at least.

the one thing that ties together the movies in the yrf spy universe: high school level jokes

pathaan (dop: satchith paulose) // the graduate (dop: robert surtees)

pathaan // mission: impossible 3

(hoping that y*r*f doesn't send a d*m*c*a notice for this even though officially prime pe hi dekh raha hu)

my man was too stunned to speak.

okay, so the deleted scene was some torture porn with a bad joke. sahi hai delete kar diya. i was assuming they were gonna restore some of the moments they've deleted from the action sequences for the digital release.

the bike chase in war was already a major flex for yrf's face replacement vfx. but this uncut train fight in #pathaan? it really beats everything. no dead eye. there's expressions. the lighting. it's all pretty much perfect. vfx breakdown nikalo bhai.

apt description for the audience's reaction to this whole sequence.

totally didn't get this main hoon na reference but it makes sense

MERE KARAN ARJUN WAPAS AA GAYE!

@ yrf, behind-the-scenes, making-of, kuch toh footage nikalo bhai ye poore scene ka?

pathaan // skyfall

the music does intensify when i've to step out of the house for any reason.

this was the most unexpected cheer that pathaan got. all 5 times that i watched it at the theater.

my man raza was ready to risk it all for a threesome. fir yaad aya accha international spy mission chal raha hai.

this shot? on the big screen? deepika's eyes. srk's lips quivering. W O W.

i KNEW they must've shot more scenes of srk walking because srk walking is A R T. but it was left on the cutting room floor. makes sense though cuz it messes with the pacing (hehe) of the film.

so that hairdresser joke had a set-up in a deleted scene.

rizzjection

abb se aise hi salary negotiate karenge.

kya samjhe? samjhe ki nahi samjhe?

john abraham's delivery makes this my favorite line from the film.

oh fuck, just realized. so yes, the truck fight in pathaan is a dhoom reference. but LOOK who's in the background in the truck fight from dhoom. that's right. shah rukh khan.

ahh another deleted scene.

jim ke andar ek influencer hi hai.

if angela bassett got an oscar nom for doing the thing in that dumb blockbuster, dimple kapadia should also get one for doing the thing in this dumb blockbuster.
i said what i said.

funniest moment in the movie.

*pin drop silence*

underrated line delivery

pathaan sacrifices a "protagonist learns from the antagonist & changes his whole worldview" moment for this cool shot. worth it?

reclamation.
