The NCDMB held the Cross River leg of the one-day sensitization workshop on the Board's Community Content Guidelines (CCG) for contractors, youths, and members of host communities in Calabar, yesterday, Saturday 25th March 2023.

The ES, #NCDMB, Engr. @wabote_simbi (FNSE, FIPS), who was represented by the GM, CC/ZC, Dr. Ginah O. Ginah (FNSE) at the workshop, noted that it was aimed at enlightening contractors, youths and other stakeholders on the mandate of the Board and the importance of the CCG.

The Board’s CCG is intended to facilitate the effective participation of citizens of oil-producing communities in oil and gas operations. He added that in the CCG, a Host Community is defined as the community where oil & gas operations/projects take place.

He also encouraged participants to register on the Board’s NOGICJQS database to enable them partake in the Nigerian Content Human Capacity Development Initiatives and other benefits therein.

The Board’s Community Content Guidelines (CCG) enlightenment Workshop was interactive, educative and Dr. Ginah urged all participants to be good ambassadors of the Board.

The Executive Secretary, NCDMB, Engr. Simbi Wabote (FNSE, FIPS) represented by Dr Ginah O. Ginah (FNSE) was accompanied to the workshop by Mr Uduak Obot, Zonal Coordinator Akwa Ibom/Cross River Zonal Office, Mr Esiekpe Simeon, Supervisor, Zonal Coordination Division…

… Mr Kennedy Nwobi, Supervisor, Edo/Delta Zonal office, Mr Ita Nyoki of the Corporate Communications Department, Mr. Ukan Idagbo, officer, ZC and other staff of the Board.
