F who was going in circles because of his guilt to P, this was his wake up call to redirect his guilt -if we may put it this way- his love alone won’t magically take away S pain -and S needed an apology.

The shame, regret and pain look on F face is tearing. His struggle to explain how torn he felt in the past how confusing all this was for him and his incapacity to change it now, to his defence he can only swear that he has changed and promise her a FUTURE.

F was completely broken, all his hopes and dreams, his whole world was collapsing.

S was moved by his words, she trust in his love, she knows it in her heart but the timing is very poor for her to overcome her trauma/fears.

Z thing was upsetting but advantageous; it made S finally see how strange the whole thing is & trust - it’s not F fault (or at least it’s out of his control). F reaction, made it very clear -Seyran is his red line. Them going directly after S is their losing move.

Sharing their troubles, dealing with a threat targeting them/their marriage & the pact they made, was their first step into becoming a team.
Them failing the first test was predicted, each thinking protecting the other, going on solo, not the best idea.
