Fauci says “I can’t, as a scientist, ignore the historical perspective” that HIV came from the wild, and thus that Covid might have too. In fact, a good scientist would seek to disconfirm one’s experiences & biases. Instead, he sought to reinforce them.

Anybody who says, “I represent science,” is anti-science. Science is a collective process by individuals who disagree. It is always provisional, always changing, and never represented by a single person. Fauci is arrogant, dogmatic, & authoritarian.
