#LOLsuit alert! On Monday April 3, #DevinNunesIsAnIdiot filed yet ANOTHER defamation suit in yet another venue. This time he’s suing The @guardian (but not author @hugolowell), reporter Chris Anderson (but not Sarasota @HeraldTribune), @PenskeMedia for @Variety + 😗 blower… /1

… Will Wilkerson who was the source for most of the original @hugolowell story.

While it’s a typical no-there-there Devinfamation LOLsuit, it’s somewhat less deranged than his earlier work. He accuses everyone of inventing their reporting out of whole cloth to harm him… /2

… yet refrains from throwing feces within the suit itself. Sure there isn’t a single bit of support for any of his assertions, + of course he claims any suggestion he laundered Russian money was so outrageous as to be impossible, + ok he boasts he’s the APEX OFFICER… /3

…+ literal face of Trump Media + Technology Group, which is literally named for SOMEBODY ELSE, the DFG who owns 90% of it + is the only user whose posts on Truth Social are ever publicized in legit reporting. Yes, what we expect from #DevinNunesIsAnIdiot. But this LOLsuit… /4

…actually shows a teensy amount of growth and change from #BadAttorneyBiss. While there’s no substance to his arguments, there is reference to case law. Lots + lots of case law. With quotes purportedly from the cases (no I didn’t check if they were accurate or relevant)… /5

…added inline into the complaint instead of in footnotes. There’s only one footnote and it’s a doozy. It literally is attached to Devin’s ridiculous claim that L’état c’est moi; Devin claims HE is synonymous with TMTG. The footnote does not appear to support the argument. /6

There’s another example of growth + change in this LOLsuit; they aren’t pasting in tweets as if the filing were a listicle. There’s plenty of alleged mean tweets but they’re referenced with links + the text.

Including this one swiping at @DevinCow 🐮 + @NunesAlt 👩‍👦‍👦. /7

Yet more improvement from Nunes and Biss; they didn’t ask for a million billion skillion dollars. They asked for whatever the jury would award plus interest going back to this March.

I know what the jury would award him (not that this nonsense would ever see one). /8
