Why does @Patreon block Ukrainians but help Russians raise money for genocide? Thread.

I’m Ukrainian vlogger.
On March 20, on my birthday, Patreon deleted my account allegedly for funding weapons or military activity.
No proofs was provided. Just these words.

I appealed and… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

Yes, I actually help the Ukrainian army as well. But I don't use funds from Patreon for this. In order to protect my people from the genocide that the Russians are doing, I am giving away some of my money from YouTube monetization and business. I also informed Patreon about… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

Such cases are not the first time. last year, Patreon also blocked Ukrainian blogger Ayder Muzhdabayev. Earlier, the profile of the charity fund Come back alive was deleted.

Since I did not violate the rules of the platform, I began to wonder why the Patreon team is so biased… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

For example, here's War Gonzo's Patreon page. This is a project of the Kremlin to propagate genocide against Ukrainians. Its author, Semyon Pegov, was awarded by Vladimir Putin.
War Gonzo openly raises money for the war against Ukraine, but Patreon did not remove his profile,… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

Russian Aleksey Smirnov also has an account on Patreon. He’s a Russian propagandist who justifies genocide and personally goes to the front to kill Ukrainians. There is no reaction from Patreon.

A lot of complaints to Patreon were filed against Tatyana Montyan. She supports aggression against Ukraine and provided coordinates for missile strikes to the Russian army. She has an award from the Russian army.

Patreon flatly refused to delete her account.

Smaller fish, but also interesting. Ilya Varlamov, Russian propagandist. He supported the occupation of Crimea and traveled there illegally. Patreon doesn't care if he gets funds.

John Mark "BadVolf" Dougan tortured prisoners of war in the occupied territories of Ukraine and spreads Russian propaganda.

Patreon helps him. War crimes cost money.

Ukrainians filed many complaints against John, but Patreon didn’t delete his account.

Patrick Lancaster works for the Russian government and also justifies aggression against Ukraine.

He also helps Russians raise money for the genocide.
Where is the Patreon reaction?

Results.
Patreon massively and without justification blocks Ukrainians.
At the same time, even after complaints, Patreon does not delete the accounts of war criminals, Russian propagandists, and Russians who collect money for the murders of Ukrainians.

Why does this happen?… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
