Not only is Joseph Shelllabarger aka Boxkhar a racist, antisemite, and actual Nazi, he is a prolific electronic music artist, DJ, and graffiti artist. We are gonna try to work out where racism fits into all this because tbh it don’t make much sense.

Real talk: Joseph Lee Shellabarger aka Boxkhar is a fucking Nazi. Along with his appearances with the White Art Collective, he also appears regularly on a "Goyim Defense League" livestream called “the Funky Side of Fash.”

Quick reminder about the White Art Collective. You would be hard pressed to find a genre of music that would not be absolutely gutted without the contributions of Black, Hispanic, Jewish, LGBTQ etc. artists.

A musicology degree isn't required to see that certain pop music genres, like hip-hop, are entirely derived from Black culture. Even country music, long (and wrongly) hailed as uniquely white, has been totally transformed by the influence of hip-hop.

Electronic dance music is another glaring example of complex cultural cross-pollination. There are clear European roots but the incorporation of multicultural elements Disco, Soul, Jazz, R & B, & various types of world music transformed it into a worldwide cultural phenomenon.
